"This was really a lovely little apartment. It was nice to see the deer and other critters in the woods looking out the kitchen window. The only downside was it was a little drafty, but it is an older building so that wasn’t surprising. The heat worked great thought despite the really cold weather! The location, apartment decor, the welcome amenities from the owner were all really nice and welcoming. A real home away from home! Thank you!"

"Julie made herself available and helped me get in during a snow and cold snap. The house is warm and cozy and was a refuge in the below zero outdoors. Having the garage was amazing as the snow fell...and fell. Everything we needed was there and I had no fear in case we got snowed in. The house was very clean and the beds were so comfy. "Convenient, beautifully decorated, comfortable accommodations - we will stay again. It should be noted that it is on the third flood and does not have an elevator, which was not a limitation for us, but would be an unwelcome surprise if you were unable to navigate the stairs. There is city noise and a little noise from the area and other apartments, but city noise doesn't bother us, just noting for anyone who may be looking for solitude that a city apartment may not be what you're looking for....

The kitchen has limited equipment, if you plan on cooking. The house is showing it's age on the outside.Nice little lake, great hot tub/pool, and a canoe and kayaks available. The nearby restaurants are both good. We would use again, and the owners have other units on the property, both large & small."
