"It is magical home in a magical place. It can't be more welcoming. The house is full of light . I live the kitchen and the living room with amazing views towards the sea and the saumon fishers.I have love the time sitting at home, relaxing and enjoying the peace and the warmth atmosphere. I have love playing the piano and cooking in the big kitchen.The bedrooms upstairs are big and very comfortable.Eileen has been very nice to us.She has answered all our questions.Hope to come back again soon."

"its position could hardly be bettered, on a promontory with views to East, South, and West. We enjoyed the sound of silence, with occasional bleatings from the hillside. We took advantage of many local amenities and sites, shops, restaurants and walks, including the nearby Connemara National Park. All good!"

"Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....

While there may have been small things that would have improved our stay further we were perfectly comfortable and the location was wonderful, whatever the weather. "Fabulous home and location!! Perfect for a large group including all ages. My wife, baby and I stayed in the attached studio, while my parents, mother in law, sister and nephews where in the 4-bedroom 2-bathroom main house. Incredible views no matter the weather, thanks to the full window walls. Electric window shades when we wanted privacy. Walked to the local beach. Drove three minutes to charming Louisburgh. Took 20 minute trips to Westport, Roonah Pier (ferry to Clare Island), Croagh...

"Eight of us stayed in Jimmy's home as our base for climbing Croagh Patrick. The home was sited beautifully just outside of Westport and impeccably clean. There was space for eating outdoors, which was a must given how pretty the property is. Jimmy was a great host and timely answered all questions we had before the stay. If you're looking for a cozy, beautiful home in the Westport area, you cannot do better than this property. It won "best house" in our after-trip poll. "

"Our family of 16, ages 76-4, enjoyed a wonderful week at Sunnybank house. We loved having enough room (and bathrooms!) for all I’ve rented a lot of vacation houses over the years and never been in one as well equipped! Everything you could possibly need for cooking was there It’s also walking distance (really) to several good restaurants. Clifden is the perfect location to explore Connemara and Mayo."
