"The cottage was perfect. Quite, secluded, well appointed, clean. We had a 1 night stay after hiking all day. The only sound was bird song. We had an outdoor bath and a warm shower and a wonderful dinner by the fireplace. The listing undersells the kitchen: it is fully equipped and you could cook anything here. We kept it simple as we’d been hiking, but you could cook up a feast here."

And the ambiance and facilities magnificent, we loved the history and charm with all the facilities needed including nice welcome and generous breakfast to prepare in your room as needed.
