Good Location

The property manager was more than helpful, even offering us a partial refund if we left a 5 star review. The location was wonderful, close to Dog Beach where the dogs run free. The rental was a small duplex, very clean but needs attention. Beds and couch are not comfortable and appliances worn out.

Great Location

The house was beautiful with great access to the Del Mar beach, Del Mar Racetrack and walking distance from downtown Del Mar and Solana Beach. We particularly appreciated the air conditioning in the bedrooms because it got warm while we were there.

Nice little place!

I used to live on 28th street for 10 years so I know the area well and wanted to be close to the River mouth. It's a nice house and great location for Del Mar and close to Solana Beach. The towel rack was coming off of the wall but I fixed it with a proper drywall anchor so it's good to go for years. 3 bedrooms would be nice but the extra bed in the master worked out fine. Easy walk to the beach and that's what we wanted.

Golf Getaway

We were a group of 4 traveling to the area on a golf trip and anniversary celebration. The property was perfect for us. We found it clean and tidy, and also was well stocked. The communication with the manager before, during, and after the stay was always timely and clear. We definitely would stay again in the future.

Family time

Great location! Walk to beach, walk to Jakes on the beach. Beautiful! Pros: Nicely stocked with items to cook with, nice patio to hang out, comfortable downstairs and comfortable beds. Cons: no air downstairs so may be uncomfortable in the summer, only two towels for bedroom 2 and three for bedroom 1. Both rooms had two people for 5 nights. Bedroom 1 is spacious, very nice. Bedroom 2 is small. No closet, hung up clothes in the utility closet and in the garage downstairs. Facial tissues only in the downstairs bathroom and none in the rooms. Managed to work around the cons and would stay there again.

A perfect place for this family of four to spend our vacation. The beach chairs and boogie boards were used more than expected and greatly appreciated. The backyard oasis provided a perfect setting for us to spend time around the fire pit.

Great location. We had electric bikes so not being able to use the garage was an inconvenience. Living room furniture could be more comfortable for watching TV. Refrigerator has a loud vibrating noice. Bedrooms were comfortable and bathrooms are a good size.

Birthday in Del Mar

Absolutely incredible trip to Del Mar, the house was better than described and SO clean. The 3 minute walk to the beach was the best for us & the dog. The house was extremely comfortable and felt like home shortly after arriving. By far my best vacation rental experience and we will make this an annual trip moving forward. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Fantastic beach access

Great location & beach access, no huge cliffs to have to climb stairs. Not overly crowded at the beach. Great amenities in the house. We arrived late at night with the wrong code. Had to call a couple of numbers to get someone to give us the right code. A/C wasn’t working, third day up and running. King bed in primary with a double bed. We put our kids in the primary room & took the second room with a full size bed. Full size bed was fine but it needs to be replaced. It moves with you & makes lots of noises. Probably a bad spring. Just replace the mattress! Outdoor patio was great but the floor needs to be power washed, badly. Otherwise if your barefoot, the bottoms of your feet end up black. Also, the upstairs patio lock needs to be checked. My son & I got locked out. Beautifully landscape. Well stocked. We kept windows open (mainly because there was no a/c for a few days) but neighborhood was quiet and loved that we could keep them open. Train didn’t bother us. Fireplace in the living room was nice. We enjoyed our stay there!

Lovely Spot to Enjoy all Del Mar has to Offer!

We enjoyed our stay at the Vitamin Sea very much. The unit is updated and very comfortable. Perfect for a couple. The very best thing in my opinion is the location! Just a short walk to the beautiful Del Mar beach. My list of suggested improvements is short - living area furniture (couch and chairs) should be cleaned at the least or replaced at best; provide a second set of sheets for beds to make changing convenient; internet service drops periodically and speed not be adequate for remote work situations. We look forward to our next visit to Del Mar!

Beautifully styled home with an Idyllic location!

We loved our stay! We have traveled to Del Mar for many years to enjoy a week of R & R with our kids but this was the first time we stayed in this home. We are so happy we ventured to try another rental for our stay because this home was perfect. Nice furnishings, clean, beautiful updates to the property, nice backyard space if needed. We could not park our SUV in the garage due to limited space on the side walls of Garage but we didn't mind. Our kids are still within age ranges that sharing a room or bed is not a problem so it worked out beautifully for our family of 5. Thank you for having us and we look forward to visiting next year!

Great location

We had a great 2 weeks in Del Mar. Our expectations were really high based on the pictures of our place. It was a great location, a quick walk to the beach. But the furniture was more tired than we expected - the photos must have been taken in the first year.
