The property provided ample space for our family gatherings. The little ones had spaces to play and run while adults were able to visit without feeling cramped. The kitchen was well stocked for all of our cooking and baking equipment needs. The den in the lower level provide a nice quiet space for us to hold our farm board meeting. The property host accommodated all of our needs and to extend another day with the incoming snow and unsafe travel condition back to SW Minnesota. Our extra day was filled by playing in the snow and sledding at the property. The early snow removal at the property was appreciated for us to get an early start back home.

Surprise WOW around every corner!

We have been staying at VRBO properties for many, many years and have never found one to be as lavish and spectacular as this one. It was awesome for adults as well as for the kids.

Remarkable Home and Welcome

Memories for a lifetime

We rented the property so my family could all be together for my wedding weekend… needless to say we are going to make it a tradition to book a week here with family every year. The convenience and beautiful surroundings made for a true week of R&R.

Amazing isn’t good enough!

This is the perfect place for a multiage family gathering. The house and grounds are great. The care and welcome by the owners/manager are wonderful. We couldn’t ask for more in a family reunion. We’ll be back!

Beautiful house and property

My family met here for my dad's 70th birthday. We went into Madison Saturday morning and enjoyed the house and property the rest of the weekend. It was very well stocked and a great place for kids and adults.

Annual Get Together

Oak House is a unique property ideally suited for family gatherings - this was our fourth stay. The house is roomy, well appointed, and decorated for the holidays. It also has access to nature trails for daily walks. The location has quiet privacy with quick access to activities in Madison. The property manager Rachel is very responsive. We highly recommend a stay here.

Beautiful fall family retreat

This was our second stay at this property. It is very clean and well stocked with everything we needed for a quick weekend getaway with extended family. The property manager anticipated our needs, and even dropped off an extra propane tank for the grill before we even realized it was low. We hope to stay again soon.

Oak House sibling reunion

The property is beautiful and was so comfortable for all of us. It has everything you could want. We really enjoyed our time together there, whether hanging out in the screened porch, enjoying the fire pit on the patio, spending time in the kitchen or taking in our beautiful surroundings. We will plan another family trip here.

The house is so beautiful! If you are considering staying at The Oak House, you should definitely stay! Not only is it beautiful, their attention to detail is amazing! Everyone in our family had a blast! We are already considering a reunion in 2025!
