We had a wonderful multi-generational family vacation at Evergreen Ranch. The house was ideal, with plenty of room for all eleven of us. I was especially impressed by how well-stocked the kitchen was, down to K-cups for the Keurig. The property was beautiful, and we thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor dining spaces, fire pit and hot tub. Visiting and feeding the goats and playing with the barn cat became a daily activity. The Property Manager, Rachel, was a pleasure to work with. We would definitely book this property for our next visit to the Madison area.

Welcoming, spacious, and fun!

We rented this house for a family reunion that included close friends. The house is beautifully appointed and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and had lots of extra pillows. We loved the big round table and all the little seating/conversation areas in the shared spaces. The deck with fire pit and hot tub is like a big extension of the living room. It's really comfortable and fun. What we especially loved about this house was how generous the hosts are with the amenities. There were tons of towels, extra toiletries, coffee and tea, detergent, cleaning supplies etc. It really felt like being in a friend's house. Also, there are tons of lawn games, board games, and the ping pong table. We did bring our favorites but everyone will find good activities there. Plus, there are goats! This was a great place to stay.

So Relaxing

Property and home are both beautiful. The home was stocked to anticipate our every desire: Games for both outside and inside, colored pencils for the kiddos, ping pong, coffee, blankets to snuggle in on the couch, tables in the garage to put out a buffet style picnic, extra fridge- and of course the cute little goats-I could go on and on. The beds were comfortable, the areas spacious and appreciated no neighbors. We were in Wisconsin for a wedding in Madison. Only about an tighten minute drive away. Want to just enjoy family. Book this gem.

Amazing stay for large family

We had a large group sleep here (9) and the property was very accommodating. Lots of outdoor space and plenty of room for a large dinner of 20. Communication was easy and I highly recommend this place for large groups.

Grandfather's 98th birthday celebration

Perfection

We were 5 couples (40's-60's) attending the Ironman races in Madison over the weekend. We stayed 5 nights. We have travelled quite a bit as a group and all agreed this was the best place we've ever stayed. The home was beautifully decorated and contained everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and the snack cupboard was a big hit. Our downtime was spent walking the trail, using the hot tub, doing 2 of the jigsaw puzzles and reading. There are so many different seating areas inside and out that you can choose to be together or on your own. I'm not sure we will be back this way but if we are we will definitely stay again.

Wonderful!

We couldn't be more pleased and delighted with our stay here. I reached out several time before arriving with a few questions, and Rachel always replied quickly. Upon arrival I was stunned by how truly beautiful the home and grounds were. The kitchen is amazingly well-stocked, and the common area rooms are clean, comfortable and very inviting. Enjoyed the hot tub, the goats, and the trails on the property. Bedrooms were lovely, spacious, and the bedding delightful. Honestly, we were so impressed -- better than I could have imagined. Rachel even came to our rescue when we found ourselves in need of some extra folding tables, and drove them over immediately. We couldn't have been happier here. A perfect setting for our family to gather as we celebrated my daughter's wedding at the Cambridge Winery, just a mere 10 minutes away. I would return in a heartbeat!!

Family vacation

Our family of our 4 adult children, along with 4 grandchildren (ages 5,4,1.5, 6 months) stayed here in late July. It was absolutely perfect for us! The kitchen is well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and the hot tub was a hit with the grandkids. We used the firepit, fed the goats, played bucket golf (we brought this game) on the large yard area. It was well stocked, and the manager kept us informed and answered any questions we had. We had a great time in Wisconsin, with this wonderful place as our base. Would definitely stay here again! It is a beautiful place, well thought out, clean and modern.

Gettleman family vacation 2024

We had a wonderful time at the farm in Deerfield Wisconsin. The location was beautiful and the house was just perfect for our family of 13 including 5 kids and 8 adults! We had lots of fun feeding the goats and going in the hottub and playing frisbee golf and having a fire in the fire pit and eating s’mores. I would highly recommend

Amazing

Best week ever for our exceeded family of 11. Lots of family fun. The house is the absolute best vrbo we have ever stayed in. Super clean, fully stocked, and wonderfully decorated for the holidays. The goats and hot tub were our favorites. Grandma said to say , "It has the Grandma stamp of approval." Thank you so much. So many memories made.

Great Property

We really enjoyed our stay. Fantastic property, thoughtfully appointed with everything you could need, including spare toiletries. Plenty of room for 7 adults. From the hot tub and fire pit in the yard to grilling and corn hole in the driveway to morning coffee on the front porch with the goats, we took advantage of everything… and just a quick/easy drive to Madison. One well-travelled member of the group said best house he’s ever rented - hard to argue with that. Would definitely book again.

Excellent country home!

This was our second time staying at the house. It is exceptional. Very clean with great amenities, including large firepit area, hot tub, wifi, etc. The property is beautiful with walking trails and it's very secluded. There is virtually no noise from any road traffic. Only a 25-30 minute drive to downtown Madison. I highly recommend renting this property for a long weekend or longer.

Amazing Vacation

We had such an incredible time here, we never wanted to leave. The highlight of the trip was Otto, the barn cat that wanders around. We all very quickly fell in love with him and we miss him already! The property was very well taken care of inside and out. You can tell that the owners take pride in this property. We had the most relaxing time, everything was beyond perfect. I truly hope we get an occasion to come back and stay again!

Fantastic Place

We came to Madison for the Crossfit Games and we had as large group because my son was competing. This place was great. We loved the location (20 minutes away), and the peaceful farming area, The house is beautiful and very tastefully decorated. The beds were very comfortable as well. It was a great stay. Thank you!

Above and beyond!

You have only to read the many glowing reviews to get a sense of what this exceptional home offers. We were a group of 6 couples, college friends gathering for a reunion. This open, light-filled, spacious, beautifully decorated, and amenity-rich home offered privacy and comfort for all, along with multiple inviting indoor and outdoor spaces for conversation, relaxation, sharing meals, long walks and play. The home overlooks acres and acres of fields and woodlands, and you are invited to roam to your hearts' content, Rachel and Joe were readily available, but they seem to have anticipated and generously planned for every possible need we could have. Photos just can't begin to do justice to this stunning retreat. It couldn't possibly have been better!

Outstanding Week

Family of 8 adults and 4 children travelled to rural Wisconsin, east of Madison, for a weeklong reunion. The Evergreen Ranch is located in a secluded area on a small hill with a farm yard just below. We were surprised and pleased with the accommodations, which include 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, nice kitchen and eating areas, several indoor and outdoor gathering areas with activity items provided, a hot tub, nearby hiking trails, and close proximity to Madison with a number of university town activities. The highlight, particularly for the children, was feeding baby goats with Rachel, who is the caretaker. As a family, we have been to a number of vacation rentals. This is the first one to which we may schedule a repeat vacation in the future. Thank you to Joe Arrington and Rachel for providing a great spot and experience.

This destination could not have been more perfect for our family gathering. The house - which is spacious, tastefully decorated, and filled with natural light - sits on the gorgeous rolling hills of a 600+ acre sustainable tree farm. Three generations of family had endless fun hiking the trails, playing with the baby goats, relaxing in the hot tub, and sharing meals on the gorgeous wrap-around porch. The house is very clean and well cared for; we found every amenity we could have needed and enjoyed playing ping pong in the garage and board games in the house. The kitchen is very well stocked and incredibly clean. Rachel, the property manager, is very kind and very responsive. She has thought of everything - including a binder full of information about local activities and eateries. We visited the Fort Atkinson famers market as well as local bike trails. This property offers that home-away-from-home feel that is hard to find in a rental. We definitely plan to return!
