Fall weekend
Great little space with comfy furniture and bed. Proximity of neighbors was a little to close for our liking but it wasn’t an issue for us in Oct. Lots of steep steps to the water. Great views from the yard and house. Lots to do in warmer sunny weather. Appreciated the use of the kayaks.

Great stay
My friend and I take an annual mini vacation. This was the perfect spot. House was clean and had everything we needed. Host was friendly and helpful. It was a beautiful spot even though the weather wasnt the best, we still had a great time.

Get away to the lake
Great property for our group! Beautiful lake with dock for fishing and swimming. Took the kayaks out to explore the lake and do some fishing. The host was very responsive and fixed some minor issues within 12hours. One thing to note, there is some road noise due to a bridge rather close to the house. Also there is a long staircase to access the dock which may be an issue if you have seniors in your group.

Little get away
Our family absolutely LOVED this cottage on Berlin lake. We brought up our own pontoon and docked it. We didn’t even have to leave the dock to catch so many fish which was great for our little kids. The owners are right next door and super nice. Our family is looking forward to coming back again!!

Cozy Christmas Cottage
We stayed in the property for a few nights over Christmas. The host set up a Christmas tree which made the home feel cozy and full of holiday spirit. The wood burning fireplace added to the ambiance. Jason was easy to reach with any questions we had and he was accommodating and professional. I’d stay again and recommend for future bookings!

Comfortable
This home was clean and comfortable. It had everything you need to feel at home. The bed was really comfortable. The kitchen had everything you would need including a large refrigerator. The view was amazing. Lots of space outside to sit and enjoy the water view. Owner was very helpful when we had an issue with the bathroom light. Fixed it quickly. We enjoyed our stay.

Our second year
This is our second year staying here. It was just as lovely as I remembered. The house is comfortable, and just, perfect. We adore our hosts! They are always kind and helpful if needed. The accommodations and furnishings are perfect for guests. Everyone is always sad to leave. We can’t wait for next year!

Great getaway
Great property and location. We had a fantastic time. The owner was very nice and responsive. For example, we suggested they add a teakettle to the house and they did right away. The only very small issue was left over cigarettes in an ashtray outside. If you are looking to book a cozy lakefront cottage, it doesn't get better than this!

Beautiful Views
Check in was easy. The views were beautiful. I was just passing through for my brother's funeral so it wasn't a happy stay but sitting looking at the water helped with a little peace and relaxation... I would definitely stay again... my only complaint would be the water pressure in the shower was very low... but can't hold that against anyone. It was a beautiful stay and you won't regret booking here.

Great Stay
We were visiting the Alliance/Deerfield area for our daughter’s graduation from PT School at U of Mount Union. We had a wonderful stay. Really enjoyed the lakefront views, the use of the kayaks, watching birds and boats zoom by. Kitchen and living area were clean and very spacious, big, quiet back yard with plenty of outdoor seating. We would definitely stay there again and we would recommend it to others. Jason is an excellent and responsive host.

The house was immaculate and the views were amazing. We had a couple cloudy days but that didn’t matter & then the sun did come out and it was even more amazing. It was so nice being right on the water. We use the fire pit both nights we were there and enjoy the tranquility!

Stunning place on the lake.
My sisters, nieces and I enjoyed our stay so much! An amazing place to reconnect with family. The view of the lake is incredible, the house was beautifully decorated and a huge kitchen was such a plus. We loved it. We'll be back this summer to enjoy the dock, kayaks, and the lake.

Lovely Holiday Weekend
We enjoyed our stay and it suited our needs just right. The property was very clean, comfortable, and orderly. The beds were cozy, the appliances were awesome, the view was great. We spent just a few days over Thanksgiving weekend with our family of four plus two grandparents. It was just right for spending some cozy time together. We only wish the weather would have cooperated to allow us to make a fire in the fire pit and enjoy the lake view from the outside a little more. We will have to come back in the summer to get the full experience! One person in our group has some mobility issues and the house was set up well for their level of somewhat restricted mobility. We were able to navigate it without issues which was what we hoped for when booking but we we’re relieved that we didn’t have unexpected hiccups on that front. The photos of the house allowed us to accurately pre-plan for their special needs. Thanks for sharing your lake house with us!

Family Lake House
Our family lives in Ohio and we came all the way from California to visit and see the fall color. Typically we cram into our parents house and it was so nice to be able to host everyone for once! The home was exceptionally clean and well stocked with all the necessities needed to prepare meals and entertain family guests. We had plenty of flatware and silverware. The host was extremely accommodating for anything we needed. Our favorite part of the home was the backyard and firepit area where we roasted marshmallows, played cornhole and tossed the football. The host also offered the pontoon boat as an option for a cruise on the lake but if only we had a few more days we might have taken them up on their offer. Each of the beds and linens were of top quality and I can most definitely say, we will be back! The house felt like home while we had it for the week that's for sure.

We had such a great time at your lake house. The house was absolutely beautiful and the views outside were stunning. I loved the fire pit overlooking the water. We enjoyed town too and went to a few wineries and restaurants. Would definitely come back! Thanks for sharing your place with us.

Great family get-a-way
The lake house was very clean and comfortable for our family get-a-way. Perfect spot right on the lake. Rented the pontoon boat for 2 days and everyone had fun tubing, hanging out and just touring the lake. Will definitely go back to this very special place.

Beautiful lake front home
This beautiful lake front property had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable (including the pull out couch and the futon) the bedding was perfect and clean. The entire house was spotless. The homeowners live next door and we’re very helpful and friendly. We ran out of propane one day and they gave us theirs and immediately went to refill the other tank and brought us a full one! My sister and her family visited us and her young children played with the homeowners young children. Dock was in great shape, we brought our own boat and docked it right at the house. When my family wasn’t catching fish on the boat they were catching them off the dock! Perch, Walleye, Bass, Sunfish… you name it!! The 2 kayaks provided with the house were fantastic and there are a variety of sizes of life jackets if you don’t have one The fire pit overlooks the lake and is perfect for ending the day by the water.

Lovely property
We enjoyed our stay. There were 8 of us for a women’s getaway. All sleeping areas were comfortable. The house was very clean. The stairs going down to the lake are fairly steep. Not a problem for most, but for my elderly mother she had difficulty getting down and up to fish. We didn’t need to drive very far to find a place for her to fish, so not a big problem. Outside seating and a table under a covered porch were nice. The fire ring was great as well. Owner was easy to reach and friendly.

Great view & cozy cottage!
Perfect retreat & location! We absolutely (3 adults) loved staying in this little gem on the lake. The view is spectacular! Probably the best on lake Berlin. We enjoyed the view while sitting at the fire pit... during morning coffee on the patio... while eating in the sun porch area... also from the kitchen. Sunrises were spectacular! Bald eagles each day were also entertaining to watch. Check in was super easy. Accommodations were clean and as described in the listing. We also enjoyed the wood fireplace in the living room. Kitchen had all the basics that we needed. Jason (owner) was proactive in assuring we had no questions after check in. Communication was quick during the whole process. We appreciated the fact that there is almost no steps in the house and a ramp available if needed. It was the perfect spot for us to get away for a few days and relax. We hope to return in the summer! :)

Great find
First time to Deerfield and we had a wonderful time! Wish we could have stayed longer. Communication with owner was exceptional. Very much enjoyed using the pontoon and appreciated their flexibility with our family. House was clean and provided formal great stay. Views of lake were beautiful. Look forward to returning in summer.
