"We can't say enough great things about this sweet little house in Banner Elk. Everything about this house was easy. It was in the perfect location, not far from downtown Banner Elk, but still felt peaceful and serene. The house was immaculate and provided a very comfortable stay for a short weekend getaway. "The cabin worked out perfectly for us. Loved the central location to both Sugar Mountain (for skiing) and Boone (for the great food). It’s also extremely close to a Dollar General in case you forget anything. Wish I would’ve paid attention in the listing that one room had a full size bed (the other has a queen), but we made it work for our family of four. It is located off the beaten path in a quiet area, but is in close proximity to Boone, downtown West Jefferson, and North Wilkesboro.
