"My experience at this hotel was disappointing. I chose it for one specific reason: the pool and spa, so I could enjoy some time with my 3-year-old son. But when we went to the area, we were told that children are not allowed. "Hotel ideally situated just off the A12. But there is no road noise that disturbed our sleep. Room was nice and clean well stocked with tea and coffee, soap, shampoo, hairdryer and iron. Breakfast was very good and kept us topped up for most of the day. Although we didn't eat in the hotel, the menu had enough variety and was decently priced. Bar had a decent selection of alcoholic beverages, and not too badly priced. My only complaint would be that the towels in our room were a bit...

"Having booked sometime in advance we were disappointed in the room. The room had disabled bathroom facilities. If all rooms are designed that way please ignore this review. We were only there for one night so didn't use any of the facilities"
