Best vacation ever

This property has the best oceanfront view and I've stayed at many. We saw a double full rainbow twice. Everything we needed was available and we didn't even need to pack our own beach towels. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was a plus. We will be back and can't wait to!
Pictures do not do this place enough justice. It was perfection.

Home away from home

This has to be one of the best condos we have ever stayed in. Beautifully decorated and everything is so clean and new. Everything looks exactly as in the pictures listed. First condo we have stayed in that actually has higher end pots and pans to cook with if you choose to cook and not the cheap aluminum pans most condos have. The kitchen has an abundance of pots, pans, dishes, utensils, etc. There weren’t any pot holders but that wasn’t a problem for us. We just purchased a cheap one from Dollar Tree while we were out. Bathrooms have plenty of towels and wash cloths as well. Having a washer and dryer in the unit is very convenient also. The oceanfront view from balcony is awesome and has plenty of seating for everyone. The elevator and trash disposal is right outside the door and is convenient as well. If you have a larger vehicle and are worried about being able to park in the garage, this unit also has a great parking spot that is easy to get in and out of. We have a larger truck and it worked perfectly for us. The communication with the condo owner was great from the start to the end. Never had to wait long for a reply. These owners knew what they were doing when they put this condo together. We will use them again in the future.

Great property!! Very clean and everything you need. Cathy was fantastic. I’ve stayed in several different condos in Daytona Beach Shores over the past 20 years and I’ve never had anyone care and go out of their way to help me with some special requests. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful and peaceful

Our stay was so peaceful and the views were amazing. The condo is lovely and had everything we needed while we were visiting for Welcome to Rockville. It was my first time staying in Daytona and we will definitely be back. I looked and didn't see that the Sandollar was available for Welcome to Rockville in May.

Beautiful condo!

Condo is in an excellent location with fantastic ocean views! Very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Great beach and pool access. Lots of beach toys. chairs. towels, and umbrellas were supplied. This property has everything you need for a wonderful vacation. Cathy was excellent to work with and very accommodating. Short & Sweet!

Jan 6-11, 2020. We stayed at the Sand Dollar, unit 403, in Daytona Beach Shores. The property was super clean and relaxing with the large, rounded balcony (4 chairs/round table with 2 more long corner chairs!). Both bdrms have king beds and attach to a full bathroom. Perfect for our visit with two couples. The master bdrm opens to the balcony, awesome!! We used the pool, hot tub and beach, all wonderful. The owner was very much accessible by text for any/all questions & comments. We would definitely stay here again!!

We really enjoyed our stay and were able to cook a full Thanksgiving meal. The location is great. The one suggestion I have is it needs a deep cleaning. Bathroom vents are clogged up, the floral arrangements are dusty and the kitchen drawers need a good cleaning out.

Outstanding place to stay. Spotless and an awesome place to watch the sunrise over the ocean. Great restaurants for breakfast through dinner within walking distance or a five minute drive. The only blip was the wifi. Our devices said the connection was not secure, but then again that could have been our fault. In our opinion, this is a 'six star' property!

cold pool temperature!

The condo was great and Cathy, the owner, was easy to work with and very quick answering any questions. . The pool was advertised as heated and it was so cold, especially after several days of rain. The lady in charge of the complex was rude and said they don't turn up the temperature until Nov. 1st. To me that is not good customer service!

Wonderful Place

A great time at the beach with family

This is a great property for a family to enjoy the beach. The property is well equipped, well maintained and clean. Friendly staff at the property. Great beach location. Close to restaurants, shopping, day and night activities and nature experiences. Pool and hot tub were great after a day at the beach. Orlando attractions were close enough for a day trip. Easy parking in the underground garage. Can’t wait to visit again.

Beach Vacay

The location was great. Loved the ocean facing balcony with plenty of chairs. Condo had beach chairs beach towels and some beach toys to use which was very helpful since we were traveling by plane. Cathy was very attentive and friendly and very quick at communicating when we had a question or needed something. Kitchen contained everything we needed. Beds were comfortable TV with cable in all 3 rooms was a plus. Only reason I gave the property 4 stars was it could use some updating and new carpet and couch. Otherwise very pleasant and would use again

Great location

Sand Dollar is a gem! Now too many people so no real wait for elevators. Yet, in a great spot on the beach! Our condo was just right for our family of 4 plus 2! Can’t wait to stay here again!!!
