Nice vacation if you don’t want fancy

This property is in an excellent location. We enjoy coming here, but if you are looking for super nice and fancy this isn’t the place for you. The building needs repairs. The main entrance to the pool area is closed because it looks like the beams above it need to be replaced and are being held up by temporary supports. One of the stairs heading down to the beach is also closed off. The room was cleaned fine, but was infested with German cockroaches. I killed at least 20 that I saw during our 4 day stay. The room is also in need of repairs. Our ceiling had chunks missing at the seams of the drywall. We have been staying at this property every year since I was a kid. We do really enjoy it, but it’s definitely not the nicest property to stay at. The roaches were a new problem we have not experienced in years past. Hopefully they can get the infestation under control (my parents stayed in the room next door and theirs was also infested).

Great property even better view

The accommodations were great abs we would more than happy stay there again. But if nothing faire the view from the balancing of the ocean made the stay absolutely perfect.

resort pro's are the most incompitent people I have ever delt with

the day we got there for a confermed 7 day reservation,the front desk informed me that she only had confernations for 5 days.I imediatly called resortpro to tell them and was told not to worry it would be taken care of.3 days later I called again after I realised that it was not taken care of and was informed that I had to vacate the next day.Again I was assurred that it would be taken care of the next day.Well the next day came and we had to vacate the unit and still nothing from resortpros.So now wa are out in the parking lot with no where to go while I tried to get resortpros of there ass to try to make good on our final 2 days.So eventually they came up with a room that instead of being oneoverlooking the ocean,which we paid for,was looking out to the building next door.I told them that this was unacceptible but they told me I had no choice,So we turned down the room,and I will pursue trying to get justice for our inconvenience.I have been traveling for years,and have never had sush a terrible expereance with a company.I would never ever want to do bussiness with these people again.they are the most incompatent people I have ever dealt with.

Love this place!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was very comfortable, private balcony was nice, everyone was friendly. Everything we needed was provided, even free laundry mat and popcorn! Highly recommend this place!

Great stay at the beach.

Had a great time at Dolphin Beach Club. Room had all the necessities you would need. Kitchen had cookware and dishes to fix your meals. A well maintained resort. All the staff were friendly and we will back on our next trip to Daytona.

Taking it with a grain of salt👌

I have a lot of mixed feelings on this one. The listing didnt state whether or not the pool was closed but by the reviews it looked open( However it wasnt) and for a kid friendly trip that was definitely a bummer. The office staff arent around 24 hours which kind of posed its own problem as the supplies given are only for about 2 days even though we stayed 5 so we made due. When we got there at 7pm the first night we had to call to get a key but they were pretty quick to get it for us so that was alright. A little alarming though after a 22 hour drive 🙃 Our door to the room wouldnt shut properly so we were constantly running up and down 3 flights of stairs to make sure. And with 2 boys thats alot.. The shower wasnt hooked up right and was so hot that it easily couldve been a liability for smaller children/older couples. Also I'm not familiar with florida but the last night we saw a roach in one of the drawers. We did have groceries out but nothing out of the ordinary, just fruit so we ended up tossing it. The deck was nice and awesome that it was by the ocean however, theres no rinse station so sand was literally everywhere. I figured the price was good so wed give it a go and while we made due, I dont know that Id give it a repeat. Also I thought this was cheap but in comparison to others with working pools, etc. it was the same. Just a heads up for future travelers💯👌

Super clean!

Fabulous stay! Kitchen and bathroom recently remodeled ~everything in it brand new! Equipped with everything a person would need (beach towels, salt/pepper, dish soap, paper towel, laundry detergent etc) only downfall was pool and deck closed for remodel, which we were unaware of. Will definitely stay again!
