Great Daytona Weekend

Perfect holiday getaway

We had the best spot to view the fireworks for July 4 just by sitting out on the driveway! Loved being close to so many great places as well, walked to Riverside Johnny’s with our kids. Thank you!

Great location, accommodations, and host!

Chris was a great host! Super responsive and flexible. The location was exactly what we were looking for. The house was well maintained and had a great layout for hanging out with friends. We will definitely stay here again!

This picture of the back patio is not at all accurate and should be taken down. A current photo of the front of the house needs to be on the website. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy but the inside of the property is nice. The walk to the beach is about 5 blocks and very manageable, even with smaller kids.

Great location and quiet neighborhood

I booked a last minute 2 day trip for myself and my daughter. We wanted longer, but the property was already booked. So, we took what we could get. Once we checked in, I could see why it was popular. The pictures do it justice. The house sits on the riverside of the intracoastal. Nice sunset! It was about 8 blocks to the pier and boardwalk (the main attractions of Daytona outside of the racetrack). Maybe we had an 8 minute walk? I was a little worried about sleeping and safety because of the bars in the area. Thursday night, not a sound. Come Friday night, still quiet!! OK, maybe it would be different during BikeWeek. But for a summertime vacation, it was perfect. I only regret is that we didn't bring more friends and family. We definitely had the space. Chris was quick to respond if I had a question and to check in to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. We look forward to coming back and hope we can enjoy a longer stay in the house.

Neighborhood/area of the house with very scary

Please don’t look at the pictures on the website and think that’s what you’re getting. The area was very scary; abandon lots, home falling down, and bars on the windows. When I pulled into the driveway I immediately let the booking agent know I would not be staying. After spending a lot of time on the phone with VRBO and the booking agent, I did receive one night back and my cleaning fee. I’m still out $700. I consider this to be a very bad experience with VRBO.

Coziness overload!!

Me and my four daughters really enjoyed staying here. It’s very spacious and cozy! The beds have top quality mattresses and sheets. Everything you need is here!! We will definitely refer this property to friends and family

Nice cozy place near the beach

The bikes were a great addition to the rental. The location was also very convenient since we were about 3 min from beach and had a gas station across the road. The patio area does need some cleaning, we had to clean up ourselves to be able to enjoy the outdoors. The outside shower was also great after being at the beach. The host responded quick to any questions. Overall good rental.

Daytona 2022

The home we stayed at was very accommodating, clean and had a great location less than 5 minutes from the beach. 8 of us stayed in the house and had plenty of room and it felt like a home away from home with the eclectic bike to ride, a wagon for the beach and bogey boards to ride the waves. Will definitely do it again. We made a lot of great memories. Thank you for our stay in Daytona!

Only have one complaint.

My only complaint is that it was difficult for Uber to find us. Everything else was good. Most of our time was spent outside of the house so I don't have a lot to comment on. It was nice to have laundry on site and the A/C works wonderful!

Hotmess but good location!

The check in process was a bit difficult, as we were sent the wrong code and the key pad lock was dying. The owner did have to come two days later to replace the batteries. The shower broke when we arrived after an 18 hour drive from Texas. Owner told us to watch a video on how to fix it, or we could shower outside with the cold water outdoor shower located at the front of the house.. thankfully my husband was able to fix it. The AC also didn’t reach the kitchen and back bathroom, which was a bit frustrating at times. Toilet was also faulty and did not flush unless the top was removed and done manually. Outlet in the bathroom was hanging from the wall. Thankfully we only used the house to shower and sleep, and we’re in a prime location for Jeep Beach. Very close to the main after parties and speedway. Short drive to the beach as well. If you’re looking for a quiet place to stay, I wouldn’t recommend this location. It shares a wall with a tire shop and is right across the street from a pretty loud bar, which wasn’t mentioned in the listing. Overall, I give it 3 stars bc of location and access to the garage. The garage held our doors for our Jeeps easily. But the house could use some maintenance and upkeep.

The house was amazing! Great location for bike week! Very clean property! Had 7 adults and it worked perfectly for us! Fit 4 baggers in the garage and out of the ocean air! Only downside is that it is so close to Main Street that you hear motorcycles ALL night!
