The staff was very friendly. The facility was very basic. No coffee in the room. There was a strong smell of some one smoking weed. We smelled it in our room several times every night.

I didnt like the 10 am check out... asked if they offered a late check out... they told me I could pay 10 per hour... most places will give you till 12-1

Met the owner at checkin. Very friendly man. Shared my concerns about previous reviews and had a great conversation. Bottom line, those negative reviews are bogus. Clean room and property. Easy parking, late checkin (Rolex baby), close food. Will be back next year.

The property is simple but clean. The property is very quiet. Not resort style but definitely comfy to stay here!

My stay
Beds were comfy, however, chair was ripped, arm of chair broken, no tissues or extra toilet paper in bathroom, cheap perfumy air freshener smell in room, you could tell people smoked in there even though requested non-smoking room. Could not find anyone to deliver food to hotel so had to go pick up. People were nice checking in and when we checked out. Let us leave our car thete while we went to the nascar race, as we did it by lyft. It was ok for a one night only. Definitely no frills place.

No sunshine at sunshine inn.
There was no ice machine. Had to leave and go to gas station everytime we needed ice. No bible in the room. No coffee pot. No one ever came to clean our rooms the whole week we were there. Marble floor in shower. So slick you couldnt hardly move when showering or you would fall. A/c kept shutting off. No hair dryer in the room. The door had gaps all around it. There was a huge hole in the wall behind comode. Bathroom floor was filthy black shower head was loose. No phone in room. We will NEVER stay at this dump again.

Liked - the owners were friendly and attentive. Didn’t like the cigarette smoke smell in the room, even had an ash tray on the nightstand, and we requested a smoke free room. Bathroom sink fixtures were loose as was the bathroom door handle, and the ceiling light above the microwave didn’t work.

This place was not bad. It's down that strip of motels on Ridgewood. There is no pool and the place is definitely not fancy.. but the bed was comfortable, i felt fairly safe and was nice and quiet. The owners live on the property and it's kind of cute how it's set up. Overall, I'd stay here again but I'd rather somewhere a bit nicer.

SUNSHINE INN SUCKS!!! They are criminals
ANYWHERE BUT HERE!!! Owners are extremely rude and will nickel & dime you to death. We booked 2 rooms through this site at a reasonable price only to have our bill go up over $100 when we got there. There is no refunds allowed so we were kind of stuck unless we wanted to completely throw away a few hundred dollars.He told us he hates hotels.com and also charged us a 14% fee that they said was a charge passed on to cover hotel.com fee or some nonsense. Free WiFi is advertised, however, not a single person with us were able to connect. The owner tells us he does not gaurantee free WiFi even though they advertise it. Four of the six in our group were children under 16 stuck in a hotel on a rainy day and no WiFi, unbelievable! Mini fridge in our room did not work, a/c unit cut off in the middle of the night and would not come back on no resolution on this from the owner. The owners were in the parking lot at around 7pm yelling and cussing at an occupant 5 doors down from us telling him to get back inside his room, completely unprofessional. Just so ya know, no coffee, no ice, no vending, your towels will more than likely be stained, your air, along with the fridge might not work, you've been warned!!!! I'm 42 been married for 17 years with 2 kids and have been to many, many hotels from NY to Florida and have NEVER had to deal with anything like this. EVER! No matter how tempted you are to book a room here I would advise against it, it's horrible. Hotels.com, eliminate them pl!

The guy at reception was super nice. He even provided us with cards to play at night. Got extra towels. Refrigerator and microwave working well.

Very clean and recently updated rooms. For the price it couldn't be beat. No pool or internet. The upcoming tv show info couldn't be found on the tv menu.

No ice machine....no vending....no laundry....AC kept off until someone rents room...room very hot and takes hours to cool off...could use a new shower curtain and new pillows...overall it was ok...full cable and large bathroom and room

our hotel is not name brand so we don't keep all amenity. we keep our price low low so keep in mind before you book .read all amenity on our web. anyway thanks staying with us
