We couldn't have asked for a better host! We were welcomed with a compete tour and groceries! The cranberry bread was to die for! We loved this house and the dock! We fished (caught a sting ray, catfish, crab and other fish we couldn't figure out), kayaked and walked to the beach. We had dolphins and manatees swim by daily! Lots of great places to eat within 5 minutes drive. This was the best stocked pantry in any house we've stayed in - in over 25 years! Beds are super comfy - water pressure in the master shower is awesome! We had a great visit - and would definitely stay again! Thank you!

We had a wonderful time, the dock is really nice. We enjoyed fishing, eating outside and relaxing. The kitchen easy to work in. Our host was so nice and easy to work with.

We all agreed that 23 Riverhouse is the nicest VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. John is a wonderful host, warm and welcoming. The house is lovely, but not stuffy or formal. The kitchen was well-stocked, and there were bicycles and a kayak in the garage (which we were too lazy to use). The setting could not be more beautiful and peaceful. We spent most of our time sitting on the dock, enjoying the views, the wildlife and the perfect weather. We saw bottleneck dolphins! Would love to come back next year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at 23 Riverhouse. The home is comfortable & clean. The host was so very hospitable too! Enjoyed watching the boats pass by & dolphins as well. Could use a dining table in main area for group dinners & game playing. Would recommend it for adults only as not kid proof - Not an issue for us but may be for others.

The dock was the most fun. Every morning and then every evening, we enjoyed sitting on the dock and watching the boats and the wildlife. Couldn’t have had a better time at this house. John was the best host, and the most accommodating. Can’t wait to come again.

Easily the best hosts you will ever come into contact with. They are very understanding and make the entire process easy. Not only that, they even bought us breakfast to cook for the house so we didn’t have to go out the next morning to get it after our long trip there the night prior. The house is beautiful and couldn’t be a better location. Recommend this spot entirely.

John the property manager meant us at arrival and showed us around. Such a nice guy. By far the best equipped home and very clean. Hope to go back soon and have a glass of wine with John and his wife. A lot I would like to talk about with this 94 year old gentleman.

First let me say being a guest of John’s is like being part of the family. He met us there to walk us through and answer any questions. He left a bunch of little things to make it feel like home. Milk, juice, beer and wine. Also snacks, baked goods and 1 day’s breakfast If you are lucky enough to get a loaf of the cranberry bread eat it up! My family loved it. We had 3 different “families” come together for our family vacation. Everyone had their own room and their own bathroom. The living space was perfect. The deck outback provided hours of enjoyment as we are a family of fishers and we had a blast. We were able to use the poles provided which was an added bonus. We caught several catfish, a puffer fish, a crab and a couple of sting rays. The walk to the beach wasn’t bad as we brought our portable wagon. The household binder was very detailed and had great restaurant recommendations. We will be back.

The house was great in just about every way. John and Christa were wonderful to meet and the house included just about anything you could need. If I did nothing but spend time at the house all week, i would have been happy. The deck was wonderful!

This house looks even better than the pictures. Host was incredible. Met us at the property to make sure we knew our way around and we aware of all the amenities. Absolutely beautiful house right on the inter-coastal waterway. Beach was a bit further away than we though, but there was free parking and needed the car to tote all our stuff anyway. You can't ask for a better place than this.

Constant breeze in June. The owner revitalized the house with a second story, a massive master bedroom, detailed woodwork--especially notable on the staircase banister. A short walk to ocean. The most detailed notebook with everything to know about the home, places to eat and visit, etc.

We had a party of 8 for the long holiday weekend and John could not have been more accommodating! We checked in the kitchen was completely stocked, including the pantry and welcome wine & snacks. Everything we needed was already there. The location was wonderful. A short walk to the beach and the river side was glorious. We did sit and watch boats all morning and afternoon. We played with the kayaks and fishing poles as well. We will be back to this house!

We came here to clean my husband’s mom’s condo. She passed in October. First chance we had. She was a hoarder! After working there hours a day we looked forward to getting back to 23 River place. It was our sanity! Loved everything about the home.

My husband and I needed a change of scenery after dealing with covid for the past year and the Riverhouse fit the bill! Being able to walk out of the doorwall, take 3 steps to the covered dock/deck was incredible. Although the house was awesome, we spent most of our time sitting on the dock/deck watching the boat traffic, fishing and just enjoying the view. My husband caught several small sharks and a few other species. He was thrilled. John was such a great host and we loved the fact that he was very close, just down the street, in the event we had a problem but otherwise he allowed us complete privacy. Although we only used the first floor, it is a large home and could accommodate multiple couples. We highly recommend for a restful getaway. Thanks to John and Christa for sharing!

The house was wonderful right on the Intracoastal Waterway. Excellent views from the excellent deck over the water. John and Christa were wonderful hosts and take great pride in their customer service. A+++ property and owners.
