We checked in at 3pm on Friday, as per instructions, turned ac down to 70 from 78 degrees.
At 5pm it was 84 degrees. And Refrigerator was not cooling in bottom compartment. Called maintenence # provided maintenence man informed me he would be there as soon as he finished the call he was on. At 7:30 I called him back and he said he had been trying to get an Ac tech. but no one was available. He finally made it to us at 10pm with a portable ac unit 2 fans and 2 coolers of Ice, to put food in. He said he would be in contact with main office first thing Saturday morning. Saturday we took the grandkids to the beach, but my son in law stayed there. No one showed up until after 3pm to work on refrigerator. This technician told us he also worked on ac, but when he contacted the office they told him they had a contract with someone else and they would be there Monday when the parts store opened. Another technician showed up later Saturday but still didn't get ac working. At this point the portable ac unit was cooling house down to around 84 degrees during the day and around 70 at night. Also when we took trash out there was no trash receptacles outside and trash piled up beside house. Maintenance man came Sunday afternoon with trash receptacle, but the trash piled against house more than filled it. No one showed Monday to work on ac and when we checked out Tuesday morning we still hadn't seen anyone. I texted the office several times and tried to get someone to call me, to no avail.
Finally on our trip home Tuesday the office texted me that they were refunding part of our money because of our inconvenience. They refunded $150 out of the $1000 spent.
Their is no way I would ever book with itrip again and will make sure that I inform anyone interested of my experience.
This is not the way to treat someone trying to enjoy a family vacation.
