***BEWARE DONT STAY HERE! A/C doesn’t work!
This started off on the WRONG FOOT. We were excited to get to our room as it was supposed to be ready at 4 PM. We get the keys, but when we arrived at the room, the cleaning lady and her cart were sitting outside. The lady did not speak English so we had to communicate via a young child she had with her. I was very concerned that the room was not going to be properly cleaned as now the lady was rushing. Who knows if the room was really cleaned or if it was just surface cleaned bc she was only there another 15 minutes. **The BIGGEST problem was the air conditioning unit does not work. We waited a few hours and the room would never cool down. In fact the temperature kept rising. I told my wife to text the owner about the problem, and sure enough he acted like this was a KNOWN issue and said that periodically we just needed to reset the unit. He said to turn off the AC unit with the switch, wait a minute, and then turn it back on. We kept having to do this over and over again. We would wake up in the middle of the night, dripping in sweat! It almost seemed as if they had some kind of outside control to save money. Not to mention the shower made a horrendous noise whenever we would use it. The furniture was grimy and worn. And the bed sagged terribly. There is MAJOR issues with this unit. The property owner promised to send maintenance to fix the AC unit and never did. We have never had issues with Vrbo, but this was a major disappointment! 😔
