Great location—very convenient to the Bandshell and Ocean Center.The condo itself is very basic and does not match a “luxury” description. It met minimum needs, but several details fell short:* Linens were minimal (one bath towel per person, no extras; limited washcloths/hand towels; very few beach towels)* Kitchen lacked basics like dish towels and potholders* We paid extra for two beach chair/umbrella sets, but only one was available upon arrival* Additional parking pass was an added charge, which varies by owner)There were also several maintenance issues:* Wobbly dining chairs with loose legs (unable to tighten without tools)* Curtain rod pulling out of the wall in one bedroom* Very low water pressure in one bathroom sink (barely usable)On the positive side, the owner responded promptly when I reported issues, and maintenance came out the next day.Overall, I’d rate it 3 stars based on location and responsiveness, but the unit needs significant updates and better stocking to meet expectations.

Disappointed in the internet and TV service. The property was going through a WIFI AND TV upgrade and we were not aware when booking. We booked just 24hours in advance ofOur stay. We had 2 days of no WIFI. And the TV upgrade technician took all of the TV remotes and we never saw them again. We called for additional cleaning after check in and for coffee cups (only a few in the cabinets). While unit has gone through some upgrades, it is evident that the unit and building are old. Patio furniture looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in quite a while and patio door was filthy. Condo and building was very friendly and accommodating as much as they could, but overall stay was not as expected.

Lovely accommodations. Very flexible with options to rent portable crib, high chair, wagon, beach chairs and umbrella. Would definitely stay here again. Resort has so many amenities and it’s a great location on the boardwalk.

Lacking necessities

It says it sleeps 12 people but it don’t!! It sleeps 10. Did not have enough silverware, or towels. The towels that we did have was thin and worn out! We had 12 people staying there. We also, didn’t have a broom or dust pan for all the sand and the vacuum didn’t work properly. They charged us for a 2nd parking pass. We were supposed to get 2 for free I was told the owner pocketed the 75.00 he changed us for parking pass. Will not stay in that room again but we love the Wyndham

Place needs a "face lift"

The pictures that we saw led us to believe that the condo would be more modern and up to date. But once we walked in, we were disappointed by the worn appearance of the walls, doors, windows,etc. Really needs a fresh coat of paint. The kitchen and baths had updated tile floors and counters and we loved the no fog mirrors! The kitchen needs to have more supplies, especially bakeware and utensils. The furniture is really worn compared to how the photos looked, maybe they were taken a while back? We did enjoy Anna at check-in, she was a lot of fun and informative. However, the older woman that checked us out was very rude, she ignored us unless we asked her a question. Overall, I would say that our experience in the resort was okay.

Best Family Getaway!

This place was perfect for a few days with the kids, I wished we'd stayed longer. So many shops and restaurants on the property, indoor and outdoor pools, and steps from the beach. We had our morning coffee from the cafe downstairs on the oceanview balcony. We hope to bring the kids back every year so we can enjoy more of the waterpark and arcade, they were closed for the hurricane, but there was still plenty to do!

Great location

Water amenities good slide to pool was closed. I was told it’s been down 2 years.location is awesome. Concerts next door walk to shops . Bar at pool great. Eatery Downstairs closed Dunkin’ doughnuts short walk down the street. Walking distance to pier and boardwalk. Lack of hot water is only real complaint. Talked with front desk they sent maintenance to check they reset valve but that did nothing.sent message to owner and ask for help. Message to virtual assistant was the most successful. Maintenance came back and checked water temperature and said yes it is not up to standards. They left. Owner then responded to my email. I told them we wanted to use the tub to soak as my wife has arthritis but that was not an option with cold water. We made due with lukewarm water for the week. The unit is great but for the cost everything should be in working order. Pool slide, hot water, a place to get a cup of coffee in the morning without having to walk down the street and have pan handlers begging you to buy them a cup of coffee.

Plenty of room for our group of 8. Very well stocked with necessities. Beautiful view! Would suggest adding some color to this unit as it is very bland white and beige with no wall pictures at all Did not feel beachy or inviting. Limited seating in living area unless you don't mind sitting on dining room chairs. Would probably not return but only because of extremely slow elevator, all poolside chairs gone by 7:30 am being "saved" with belongings. Lose your parking placard and you are in for one hell of an argument with resort staff. Very crowded beach and pool

5 Stars!

We have been staying at this resort for over fifteen years and this was our best experience yet. The unit was extremely clean and we had everything we needed. The view has to be seen to be appreciated! The host was outstanding to deal with. She was very prompt in answering any questions we had and checked to be sure our check in went smoothly and we were satisfied with the unit. We would definitely rent this unit again.

Best host!

Kim was amazing during our stay. There were issues with the air conditioners in the building and she had a maintenance person in our unit within 10 minutes of my reaching out. I’ve never had such a responsive host at a rental property before and she checked in just the right amount throughout our stay. The amenities of the building were great, however, I wish the building and/or elevators were secure. Daytona is not the safest community anymore and anyone can walk in off the street and up to the floors. We didn’t have any issues ourself but others did that were with our group. All in all, I would definitely book with Kim again!!

Perfect Spot for Family of 8

This was absolutely the perfect place for our family of 8. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out, but also come together for movie night as well. The view was spectacular and the customer service was prompt and thorough. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we visit Daytona Beach.

Spring/Easter break

Wonderful property and condo. Elevator was always pretty fast; we never had to wait very long. Having a parking ramp on site was so handy. Loved all of the pools and having a bar/restaurant right on the pool deck made getting a tropical drink or something to eat very easy. Kim was great at communicating and gave us some awesome restaurant recommendations. Beach is clean and the sand is soft. This was our first trip to the East side of Florida and probably not our last! Thank you for a great stay!

Paradise Views

We brought our family here for spring break week and had an incredible trip. This place was an amazing to stay. Well taken care of and plenty of space to just separate for a bit when family needs it… especially with teens. Beach is excellent the owner is super to work with and very responsive, we are grateful to have had the opportunity! Highly recommended!!

Will never stay in Daytona again.

The property was much smaller than described. None of the lamps worked. The toilet seat was off the commode. The lamps did not work in master bedroom and living room, so we had no lights at night in either room. The microwave had a cracked glass but worked when we got there. We were charged to replace microwave. Told property manager I was not paying for replacement but they charged my credit card anyway. The Wyndham resort was very run down. The bathrooms for the resort were always closed for repairs or cleaning. The resort was very very dirty and trash bins outside by pool and garages were always overflowing. The female employee at the owner’s checkin was very rude. She did not want to help with any issue since we were not A Wyndham resort time share owner. Would not recommend staying here or in this unit. Stay away from Daytona.

Excellent choice

Don't second guess about this condo! Very clean, comfortable and absolutely beautiful complex! The pools and hot tubs were very clean and the pool was heated! Most pools say they are heated, but they never feel it. This pool was heated and enjoyed it even though the weather was cold. The view from the condo was spectacular! Look no further! This is a 5 star unit!
