Property was a pretty standard older/somewhat dated condo but nicely cared for/had everything we needed, was easy to access, and set up nicely (every unit had an ocean view, there own washer dryer area, assigned parking spot, there is a tennis court and basketball court). We went in early March so the ocean temp was way too cold to swim but still nice and warm outside so great for everything else. Owners were easy to communicate with. Great stay A+, only cons i can think of if i get really picky were the lighting was super dark (seemed like they only had 40-60 watt eq. bulbs instead of 100w bulbs), there wasnt but should be a light over the "bar" from kitchen to living room (a dark spot that got heavy use), 1 or 2 of the lamp switches were "tricky" to turn on, and under the couch cushions were not cleaned looked like years of crumbs...but again the rest of the place was clean, nicely set up...we were super happy with our stay ;-) #1 Pro by far was the location. We've stayed in Daytona Beach about a dozen times since 2017 all of the previous stays were in further north near the main strip. This was a first time staying in south Daytona/Wilbur-by-the-sea area and it was a much more pleasant experience for a family (no cars driving on the beach, less homeless/drug addicts, less traffic and people in general, fewer commercial attractions, nicer area in general). If you can get this for the right price it is a great value. Our vacation was A+ our best experience in Daytona yet.

The unit, nor the exercise room was accommodating for handicap people. The walk-in shower had mold all around the bottom and the cleaning lady had to come and clean. For a unit that had not been used in a while should have been looked at before we arrived. The host interaction was fine. She responded in a timely manner.

I would love to give this condo a 5 star. It was clean, had great views of the beach, and everything you needed. Unfortunately, there was construction going on that was not disclosed prior to the rental being paid in full. The host did email me after payment explaining that windows were being replaced but not to worry because their unit had already been handled. My stay was Saturday night thru Thursday. Starting Monday morning at 8am sharp, the jackhammers and drilling began and continued every day until 4pm. It was so loud that if someone was next to you, you would have to speak loudly for them to hear you. The windows being replaced were longer than original windows causing jack hammering of the concrete sides. I contacted the host at 8:30am Monday telling her and the response was cold and stated for me to go use the common area on main level. I explained I could not do that with my monitors and she ignored me. The next morning, Tuesday, when it began again, I contacted her. The host responded rudely and told me people are usually at the beach. I again told her that I rented the space and should be able to relax or work in it, which she responded with a thumbs up. It was not fun to be blown out of bed early and have to deal with this. I have lots of videos and pictures for anyone who wants to enjoy the noise with a bottle of Advil! The place was lovely, the host was not.

Perfect Daytona Beach location

The 4th floor condo is located in a car free area of Daytona Beach Shores. The provided description of the property is 100% accurate and the check in information provided is the most comprehensive I have ever received. Response time from the owners was usually less than 30 minutes. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice Condo, but …

While the condo itself was very clean, we walked into a horrible stench. We had to constantly keep something going to freshen the air. The dehumidifier had to be emptied at least once a day even with all the doors closed. The location was amazing, but the county was revitalizing the beach area during our stay, and there was a constant stream of dump trucks the whole week beginning at 8:00 in the morning. The tennis and basketball courts were also under repair for 6 of the 8 days we were there. These final two issues were out of the control of the owner, but the planning schedule for the beach and the tennis/basketball courts was not shared with us for our planning. I would recommend this location overall.

Perfect Daytona beach side condo

This condo was more than comfortable for my family of 4.Each day we were able to go down to the beach in the morning, enjoy the sun and waves.Then we headed out to local shops or restaurants at night, all very close and also very good.We were in town for the Rockville concert event at the Daytona Speedway and it took only 20 min up I-95 to get there and find quick parking.Highly recommend this place and Leslie who made sure everything was perfect during our stay!

Family Vacation

It was an our second time staying in this unit and our 4th year at the Shores Club! We LOVE this part of Daytona. It’s quiet and family friendly. The perfect beach vacation, close to shopping and restaurants. The unit has a nice cozy, beach vibe equipped with everything you need from towels, to beach chairs and boogie boards, to a small cooler for the beach and the kitchen is fully stocked with all its necessities. There was some construction going on and the main door to the pool was unable to be accessed, so we had to use the outside door to get to the pool/beach, which we were unaware of until we arrived. I wish that would have been mentioned prior, not a huge deal, but a little inconvenient and noisy. Otherwise, the perfect week away at the beach!

Amazing views!

You can not get better views than this place! The balcony facing the ocean gave you beautiful sunrises and the balcony out the front door gave you beautiful sunsets! There was plenty of room for our family of 5. The closets are HUGE! If you had a baby in a pack n play they could have their own room! The condo was supplied well with the things you need to make quick meals or nicer meals. The courts were nice for our teen boys to play outside when they wanted a break from the beach. There were lots of toys in the laundry room which was outside of the unit right outside the front door. The pool was HEATED! Very nice since we were here in December. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Daytona!
