I cannot overstate how peaceful and beautiful this property is! Our extended family stayed here for our son’s wedding nearby and couldn’t have been happier with the home or location. It’s 10 minutes from Dutch Bros, but your views are vineyards and Mt Hood. You can see the road down the hill, but there was zero noise from traffic. The hosts were responsive and gracious (we broke a couple of plates) with our needs. The home is very comfortable - from the beds, to private bathrooms, to plenty of seating in the living room and the dining areas. We felt at home and only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the area! Bonus: They gifted us with a complimentary bottle of local wine which was a welcome and appreciated surprise! Would definitely recommend!!

Graduation trip

The property fit our Alaskan family perfect. Grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles and cousins all fit comfortably in this spacious and well kept two house property. A pre-graduation BBQ gathering was a huge hit thanks to the facilities and amenities.

Family wedding

What a great place to stay when in the area for my son’s wedding. There was plenty of space for the family to spread out and gather prior to all of the weekend activities. The location is perfect and the views are amazing. Thank you!

Quilting retreat

The separate house had problems with the garbage disposal and one of the toilets. We lost power due to the ice storm. This storm was predicted, so it would have been nice to have some emergency lights available. It also would have been nice to have some de-icer for the walk ways. The vacuum had not been emptied for quite some time, so when we vacuumed it needed to be emptied, and made a mess! The washing machine(s)

Great location.

Kitchen was first class. Needed outside games. Gas Outdoor fire pit- not wood burning. Jacuzzi would make it a 5 Star. Water pressure was very weak if someone else was showering. Beds were great! Has 220 for charging an electric car.

Couples Wine Tasting Trip + Birthday

We had six couples (12 total adults) on a wine tasting trip to Willamette Valley, and this property was perfect for us. It is located right in the middle of a vineyard, so you feel like you're out in the country where it's quiet, the sunsets are beautiful, and you can have coffee on the front porch with a stunning view. But while it feels remote, it's not - it was only minutes to get into Dundee or Carlton or other nearby towns to grab dinner or groceries. The open kitchen was perfect for cooking breakfast or dinner together, and we were also able to use the outdoor firepit in the cooler evenings. Thank you for hosting us on such a special trip!

Great Getaway for Family

We needed a place for our large family to getaway over Christmas vacation. This was ideal as it was clean, well stocked, comfortable beds and was very spacious. It had awesome views of the vineyards and the valley. It had ideal proximity as our family went to Bullwinkle’s one day and Wings and Waves water park the next day. The owners take great pride in the property as it has been in the family for decades and is recently updated.

Great Location & Beautiful Setting

We were having an 80th birthday party for my mother in law. Family flew in from around the US. Very nice accommodations. My only complaint (which for many might be minor) was it was advertised as having a gourmet kitchen, and given that us three kids love to cook we chose this house above others. The oven/cooktop had no markings for the temperature of the oven or cooktop. We seriously had to guess, and if you are a baker, you know how hard that is. We had a very challenging time baking in this oven and had two of our pies over baked due to this issue. If you are not planning on doing a lot of cooking , this would have been a 5 star review all the way!

Wedding Rental

We rented this property for ourselves and bridal party for our wedding weekend. The property was excellently located, and the home allows for plenty of privacy, with great larger spaces for getting together. The back patio is excellent.

Great stay in wine country

We had a great time at the Blanchard Estate. Our large group had plenty of space and the kitchen was excellent for cooking good meals. Each couple had its own bathroom and the scenery was amazing, with nice quiet nights. A couple of wineries were within walking distance. Communication was also excellent. Would definitely stay again.

Family Retreat

Blanchard Homestead was a perfect venue for our family to stay for 5 days to celebrate our grandson's wedding. We had 13 people which the Homestead and the Guest House easily accommodated. The beds and linens were very comfortable. The Homestead kitchen and dining room were large enough for our group and the kitchen was well equipped. The real highlight is the view out the large windows looking out over vineyards and orchards. The net is that this is a great rental for a large group.

Perfect place for girl’s getaway

House was in great location, size was perfect for party of 12 adults. Beds were very comfortable. Only complaint was internet didn’t work well and the path between the two houses is not well lit and the walk was dangerous at night. Still give it five stars.

A Good Stay

We had a good stay at the Blanchard Estate. The house was very large, comfortable, and well appointed. The views were great and we enjoyed the winter sunshine through the large windows in the living room. A good location for an inward family reunion.
