Good things first. The location was centrally located and convenient to the highway. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The beds were comfy too. We really enjoyed the sun room. It was a nice place to gather and enjoy the scenery. The upstairs was clean and nice. Complaints: The air conditioning/furnace did not work. The temp on Thur. morning was 42 degrees. It would have been nice to have a little heat. By Sat. afternoon the temp soared to the upper 70's, 80's in the house. It would have been nice to have a little air conditioning for the night. The dish washer was out of order. I tried to reach the host on Wed. evening to let them know that there weren't enough towels for us to have even one apiece. Their phone was shut off and sent me multiple messages saying that. Thankfully, there wasn't an emergency that we needed to contact them for. I emailed them Thursday morning and they quickly responded and brought towels by that afternoon. The floor in the kitchen area was dirty enough to make our shoes stick to it as we walked. There wasn't enough toilet paper to last. We furnished it ourselves rather than have them make a trip for that.
