Very nice property

Overall the basement area was beautiful, well appointed and accurately listed. Only a few small issues. One was that there wasn’t instructions on arrival with guidelines, like where the key was to lock up when leaving or what to do before checking out. However, they sent the checkout instructions in the app the night before. The owners checked in to make sure everything was going okay and to let us know they were there if we needed anything. Secondly, when the owners left home, the dogs barked a good bit when they heard us downstairs. I would rate this a minor issue, but something they might have wanted to make us aware of beforehand. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and I imagine anyone else staying here would as well.

Great little basement apartment perfect for a fishing get away. Surprisingly peaceful for a Memorial Day weekend. Keep your boat on the dock or put in at the boat ramp just down the street. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely look at this place again if I come back to Chickamauga.

This is a very nice basement apt. The appliances and cookware are top of the line. The boat slip is convenient and adjacent power is available. Brent was a good host and works hard to see you have what you need.

Great Option for Anglers Fishing Chickamauga

Wonderful option for anglers who want to be on Chickamauga and near the Dayton Boat Launch. The apartment was very clean. Great location just 5 minutes from the launch. Communication with homeowner was excellent. We can’t wait to return to Chickamauga!

A nice lake house apartment and well worth the money

We really enjoyed our stay. The view was great and the place was decorated and stocked with obvious care. We brought our SeaDoo and were able to use the dock to keep the ski when not riding. There’s a boat ramp right down from the house. The host, Brent, responded quickly for anything we needed. The house is a little secluded from restaurants and stores, making this place a perfect lake getaway. If we decide to visit the area again, we will definitely check to see if this place is available first.

Great place to stay

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our mini vacation! The place was clean and had everything we needed on hand plus extras like beach towels and coffee which we greatly appreciated. The host was so hospitable, and we will definitely book another stay soon.

We came for a weekend fishing trip. The water was still low, but we knew it would be. We found several ramps that were available within 30 minutes both north and south of this property. We had no trouble parking our boat in their driveway, and the private entrance and view was beautiful and relaxing. We had a great time!!

2 night breather

Weren't able to meet owner Brent, but check-in graciously handled by very polite daughter. Inside was very well maintained/clean, with all necessary bath and kitchen items. Lower level of house, mostly quiet aside from when dog(s) were alerted, but not an issue as we are familiar with that "response" as fellow dog owners. Only reason for 4/5 on cleanliness was outside porch needed cleaning, ie, bird droppings beneath fan which also could have used a cleaning. Otherwise, enjoyed our stay, though owner could have provided more cooperative fish; beautiful sunrise view off dock. . .Thank you.

Great Place

We visited for a fishing tournament. Great place to stay. Had plenty of room for us (3 adults) to spread out. We brought groceries and used the awesome kitchen space. The water level was low, so was difficult to get boat to and off dock, but we managed. Understand this isn’t in the owners control. But something to know if you’re bringing a boat in the winter months. It’s only going to get lower until spring time. Looking forward to spring time, when we will stay again. Price was great for the space. Great communication back and forth. Easy check in and out.

Beautiful location, clean, easy access

Easy checkin, bass fisherman friendly with easy access for trailer parking and power. Will be staying here again. Host has good communication and very quick with reply’s to any questions or issues. Will be staying here again for sure!!

Our favorite VRBO!

We have stayed at several VRBO’s across the state and this is our favorite. We were in Dayton for our daughter’s basketball tournament and were fortunate to stay here the past two years. Such a lovely apartment that is very nicely equipped with anything you might need. The location is just 10-15 minutes from town, restaurants, etc. and 20 minutes from the tournament location. The owners are very nice and helpful.

Great!

Wonderful place to stay right on the lake! We didn't spend much time at the apartment but it was extremely clean, well stocked with anything you may need. The bed was very comfortable too! Beautiful sunrise right outside the door! Would definitely stay again if we are in the area!
