"This was truly a wonderful cottage! We had a friends birthday together. Enjoyed cooking, outdoor fire and the barrel sauna. Very handy to get to Inner Oaks where we enjoyed a culinary experience. Also a short drive to Tusket Daniel was an amazing host! There were snacks, coffee and wood for the fireplace. He even offered to start our fire and was just a text away for any questions. Park Glenwood was a short walk from the cottage. Very peaceful A perfect place for our mini adventure "

"Really enjoyed the deck and view from this house, and the inside is very nicely appointed with cute and clean furnishings. However, some of the necessities weren't entirely functional. I'm tall (6') and I repeatedly hit my head on the track lighting down the middle of the kitchen ceiling. The lighting in the main bedroom (which is charged with a cable and you have to unscrew the lightbulbs to charge them, and they're turned on by remote) didn't really work very well. "This property is unbelievable for it's location, charm, comfort, and owner. I have stayed at many VRBO properties and this is, hands down, the best one I have stayed at. With a lighthouse and beach within walking distance, and overlooking a working harbor across the street, it is absolutely the ideal for experiencing the best of this area of Nova Scotia. "OMG this home was such a stunner! We arrived after dark because of the ferry ride, but when we arrived, the house had subdued lighting, relaxing music and some essential oils going.
