Upon arrival we were greeted by at our car by helper’s to bring belongings up to the main house/ office. They were doing upgrades since pics had been posted. And concrete work on a drive area. The decent down to beach front is about 70 to 80 steep steps and inclines. There are 6 main huts there on the beach. Air-con and water heater in each. They are maintained and clean. You have a person assigned to you at the time you arrive to help with all your needs taking stuff down,foods,drinks. Our helper was Jeremy he was great. Make sure you tip them well. If they do great. They do have jet ski there to rent at 6500 per hour. You can also just do half hour as I was told. The food was pricey, and for the most it was pretty good. You also will be charged for your room fridge. So for our 3 night stay we had a bill of bit over 8k pesos. We did eat every meal there 3 times a day. The atmosphere there I would describe as native magical. You see fishing boats and people will come to sell pearls off and on. They do you a spring pool that needs some TLC the walls need to be brushed not bad. They have some trip hazards that need to be addressed like handrail going down the main steps. Also stepping stone that are sinking. But still not a bad pool. On the other side of the pool are some beautiful peacocks. It is great place will go again some day.

The accommodations were very nice and the staff was excellent. They were very responsive to our requests and went above and beyond to make things extra special for Valentine's Day. Our personal butler,G.R. handled everything thing from a motorcycle rental to flower bouquets and extra special margaritas. It will always hold a special memory and I plan to visit again.

Darrel and the rest of the staff was more than accommodating. They could not have been friendlier or more helpful with your every request. The electricity went out two times not the fault of the resort, but the backup generator was not working. We had a beachfront cottage which had wonderful views.

My fiancé and I spent a wonderful time at this resort. Layla was fantastic and we will definitely tell everyone about this amazing place.

The room was very clean.and nice. Victorian style. So many steps to walk to the beach unit. Nice sandy beach. We were not informed of any tour options, but their were. The food was good. A very romantic getaway. Not recommended if you can't walk 300+ steps.

This place is a little piece of paradise. I love how it’s all placed inside the natural landscape. I would stay here before any other place on the island. I prefer how clam and secluded it feels compared to a busy beach resort. I went snorkelling, swimming and ate the best food here the island has to offer. My butler/attendent (Leng Leng) was amazing and made the stay here even better. She was a fantastic lady to talk with and have around to make this experience even better for us. As far as I am concerned God lives here and I was happy to join him for a visit.

Very beautiful older resort. The property and beach are breathtaking. It is down a very steep hill so plan accordingly. A long hike up to the parking and taxi. Excellent food served at your room, at the bar or on the beach. Very romantic. Many tours available. And very inexpensive. I will definitely return for a longer visit.

Visit was nice

Only stayed on night, I think we were the only ones there. Very nice resort, quiet and peaceful. Steps getting to and from bungalow to main office and parking lot are crazy steep, with lots of steps, no elevator. You bell boy is an actual bell boy and will respond when you ring the bell, while on duty, he clocked out at 8pm which was fine. But bell boy Carrie’s luggage up and down stairs for you. Try to limit the amount of luggage you bring

Simply Amazing

We had Very nice stay. The entrance in a little rough. Was not prepared for so many steps up and down getting into the property. Do not remember it being listed in property information.. But once down into the property it was everything we had hoped for. Quiet, tropical, lots of exotic birds and so many beautiful plants. The Bungalow we stayed in was perfect size for 2 people, very romantic. The service is casual and relaxed but still attentive. Our Room Butler Jerlyn was amazing. So friendly and answered any questions we had. Overall we loved our stay. Thank you

The view from our hut was great. The resort is NOT private. We had to change rooms becuase the beachfront cabana at the botton of the hillside was hardly a good room. kids were looking in our window as soon as we arrived, workers hanging out on the outside leaning against or desk railing as soonas we woke.There are random dogs wandering. Random people walking through a broken fence down by the shore area. One wouldn't dare swim in the water here. Trash is everywhere. The fountain at the pool was broken and not working. There are giant lizards in our room. The resort if you can call it that, has trash everywhere. The food was great, the butler Gerilyn was great too. The beer was cold and we kept our glasses frozen in our fridge. The romance between my fiancee' and I is about all that held our vacation time there 'together' There is a lot of construction going on, but it seems that was not being done on the property. We were the only ones there, perhaps for a reason...being that no one want to vacation here. The picture on the website are more than misleading... There is no beach. There are broken lights, oddly covered dangerous parts of the walking area etc. The monkey in the cage is marked "dangerous' and he seems very sad in the small cage. This place is more like a mini zoo with very loud Peacocks screaming in the middle of the night. Giant lizards on the wall in the room when I came back form the restroom.. A wild experience to say the least.

The experience was atrocious with the exception of the fact they assign you a butler Mickey who tries to help you in Every way he can. Beside that all was atrocious! To begin with the bathroom facilities are in a separate little Hut you have to walk out of your room out into the public outside and then enter a room and that room was overrun with ants and I complained and they claimed that they sprayed it but I am sure they did not spray it or maybe they did but it still was overrun with ants everywhere. Disgusting. Also there is an owner and her name is Jane. I told her that I need a ride to the boat and I told her I had received an email from her hotel telling me it would cost me $150 Philippine pesos. She denied any such email had ever been sent to me. She called me a liar! And she came to me personally and she aggressively waved her hands at me in a threatening manner. I am going to be 80 years old on December 20th and this frightened me. She is a horrible human being and doesn't belong in business. Anyway I sent that email to her and I told her she needs to apologize to me because here is the email that she claimed never existed and she called me a liar and I proved I did receive such an email. Also to get to the beach you have to walk down many many concrete steps and to get back to your room you have to climb up many many steps. Also on the last night there was a wasp flying around in my room and I was terribly frightened I would never stay here again ened. Also

Madame April runs a well oiled machine! The perfect precision of every detail was above excellent! One of the most romantic vacations of my life time! Every single detail was perfect, from our butler, Laya, to absolutely everything right on time! Keeping the balance of nature to every location of this wonderful resort! Romantic getaway

Normally we take a boat over to the island but due to the pandemic it was not available at this time. The boat trip makes the ambience even more special. That did not interfere with our trip, the service is impeccable, the ambience is really romantic it’s a sweet little place talked away on the island

Relaxing

Nice resort. Quiet and romantic. If you book ask for Christine for a Butler. She was great. Prices are reasonable.

Le personnel est vraiment adorable, le lieu est magique avec ses logements bien intégrés dans le paysage, des animaux partout et un végétation luxuriante. La piscine est super et la plage privée et la mer sont fabuleux.

Hof Gorei paradise!

What a beautiful place! The staff (Teng) was so very accommodating and responsive! Most days we felt we were the only people there. The grounds are manicured and with varied tropical flowers and trees. It was paradise for both of us!
