Susan is a wonderful host. This is one of the best equipped kitchens I’ve ever seen in a VRBO. We will definitely be booking again!

The condo and all the amenities were wonderful. The owner kept in touch and always answered any questions in a timely manner. The bedroom set up was perfect for my family. The outdoor pool was large enough to accommodate guests (even though some of the children in the pool seemed to need more parent supervision). Overall, a great experience!

This was the best stocked condo that we have ever stayed in. Susan had everything you would ever need there. Never stayed anywhere that had beach towels, chairs, etc. there for you to use. Highly recommend.

Remember to bring groceries with you. The Ship & Store has expensive basic items but no chain groceries close by. The sunsets are incredible. The time of year we visited the best sunset was from the West beach. The condo was as advertised with both an indoor and outdoor pool. It had some lovely extras like a cart, umbrella, and a few beach items. Easy access keypad but extra security when you got inside. You can park right outside the door.

Beautiful condo, comfortable, great location

The kitchen had everything we needed, bedrooms were super comfortable. We didn’t even need to pack beach chairs, umbrellas and toys!

Beach view was beautiful. Being a little further from the beach, however the closest you can be at that point on the island, allows you to see more of it. The oil rigs offshore didn’t bother me and were interesting especially with their dim lights at night. The outdoor pool was large and fun for the family as well as the indoor pool. Both were comfortably heated. Getting around the property was easy and the walk to the beach was beautiful and enjoyable.

Great place for the family

Stayed here for our first trip to Dauphin Island. It was the perfect accommodation for our family of four. We loved it! If you’re looking for a place to stay on the island, we highly recommend this place!

Fun even if it rains!

We had mostly good weather on this trip, but more rain than usual & really enjoyed both pools, the hot tub & the ping pong table! Nice clean comfortable place with plenty of room!

Perfection

Susan’s place was perfect! Beach on one side, restaurants across the street made for the best location. Susan’s hospitality was beyond expectations and really made us feel comfortable for our first trip to Dauphin Island. We will definitely be back to this place!

Second Stay

We had a wonderful trip to Dauphin Island. This was our second time to stay in Susan’s condo. Great communication before, during, and after the trip. The condo is stocked nicely with all the items you would need from home for kitchen and the beach. When we go back we will stay here again!

Beautiful property!

We thoroughly enjoyed the condo! The host thought of everything to make it comfortable and cozy. Loved the decor! Watching the sunrise each morning from the balcony was amazing! The island is extremely laid back & just what we wanted.

Very nice accommodations, and the photos and descriptions were accurate. This condo is very well suited for a family of four (or more). Further, great communication from the host all along the way. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Dauphin Island and Holiday Isle, and we fully expect to return in years to come.

First of all, our host was by far the best host we've ever had!She went far beyond any expectation! So accommodating to us!We are older and wanted a Christian womens retreat for the 5 of us. This did not disappoint! It was fabulous.Clean! Comfortable and tastefully decorated and the balcony was perfect!Dauphin Island is a lovely get away! Such friendly people. We loved Islanders restraunt, but if you don't mind going 10 minutes away then try Pelican Reef! Best seafood anywhere nearby!There were thousands of love bugs in the pool. And they really needed to clean that. I had to ask one day and the next had to ask again.But that is not the hosts fault. It is expensive to take vacation and the pool should be clean at all times.We will go back every year and maybe more!Can't say enough how much we loved it!Thank you Susan!

Our hosts were excellent communicators and very helpful with our questions about the area. As soon as we secured our reservation, they were sending us emails about things we needed to know about the condo and local attractions. They respond to texts very quickly. We really appreciated that.We greatly enjoyed our stay here. It was my wife and I plus our four adult children. There was plenty of room for us. We did some of our own cooking while there and the kitchen had everything we needed. We always ate out on the balcony where there was a table and seating for all of us. We spent a lot of our time at the beach, which is a short walk across the dunes via a boardwalk. There is a beautiful walk along the shore to the east that leads to a small inlet where there are many birds - it would be a great place to kayak.I highly recommend this condo. We'll be coming back.

Excellent stay

We thoroughly enjoyed this property and working with Susan. The condo was beautiful and everything in working order. The kitchen had everything we needed and I was so appreciative of that. Also, Susan was wonderful to work with - she provided great information and helpful tips for things to do. We will definitely keep this condo in mind should we have the chance to return, which we would love to do.
