Location definitely takes you away from busy spring break areas. Mostly families in surrounding houses, no issues at night with neighbors getting rowdy. House is very close to the beach. Kids and adults had a great time looking for shells. Public beaches were mostly empty and made for beautiful pictures.
House had the potential to be great. Great room and kitchen were a great space for everyone to be together. Tile floor was great and would have been easy to keep clean if the vacuum actually worked, leaving you to have to use a broom and dust pan. Kitchen lacked the basic essentials. Make sure to bring everything they tell you to bring. Some basic supplies would have been nice. Windex, tin foil, Tupperware, salt and pepper. It may be time to upgrade the pans. The green pans left a cooked on mess. Lots of time spent soaking those after trying to make an omelet. Sheets were paper tin, pillows were stained, towels were old and most of them stained. Blankets would have been appreciated for the beds as the quilts were pretty lightweight. Master shower was cracked and a repairman showed up to fix with 30minutes notice. He was super cordial and apologetic but not necessarily something you want to have to deal with on vacation. Still an unfixed crack in that same shower. Drink refrigerator not working.
Outside, Lots of sand, so be ready. Hose was available off back deck but no spray gun with it. Deck table was nice, chairs were rusty and kind of gross. Lounge chairs made for a great place to lounge without the sand. Some popped rusty nails noticed on the deck stairs. Bring chairs and beach towels and beach toys as these are not supplied.
Overall, we had a great time and this place could be a five star house with some attention to detail.
