Condo was nicely appointed and the views were stunning! The beach towels and supplies were so nice to have so we didn’t have to lug them from home. Owner was responsive to all of our needs. We would love to come back sometime.

We absolutely loved this place!! Communication was excellent and thorough, the kitchen and entire condo was well stocked, the view and the beach were amazing, and everything was very clean. We loved the remote, quieter feel of the island. I do think the walk to the beach could be slightly difficult if you're not in good shape as it is a bit of a hike and the sand is deep and hot in July. Otherwise I could not recommend this place more! The whole facility and pool area were nice and the staff were friendly. Thanks so much, Cathy!!

Fantastic!

Property was clean and well stocked! Beach supplies were a plus- sand wagon, beach umbrella, chairs, etc. Very roomy, comfortable and quiet. Nice cookware and great air fryer made meal preparation easy. When not on the beach, we enjoyed the balcony. Also, the bath towels are high quality! Honestly, one of the best equipped VRBO places I have ever been to. Host was very helpful with providing information on local events while we were there.

Great stay on the beautiful Dauphin Island Beach

Cathy's communication was outstanding from the beginning. She gave me all the information I needed to get checked in and enjoy my stay and promptly answered any other questions I had before and during my stay. The condo is a couple hundred yards to the beach, but there is a nice, private boardwalk that takes you straight there. It's convenient to several restaurants and shops and even within walking distance to a few, including Island Rainbow (ice cream & snow cones), Pirates Pizza & Wings, and Dauphin Island Trading (souvenirs and small necessities) that are directly across the street. Beach items such as a canopy, chairs, a sand wagon, kids' floatation devices, beach towels, and beach toys were provided in the condo which was really nice. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for the 8 people in our group for sleeping and being comfortable while we were relaxing in the condo. The balcony is big and well-furnished and we enjoyed spending a good amount of time there. My group had 3 adults and 5 children - one child slept in a large bed with an adult and the other children slept in the bunk room (2 bunks for a total of 4 twin beds) and it worked perfectly for us! We really enjoyed our vacation and I would recommend this place to anyone with a similar size/style group of people. Much thanks to Cathy!

Family Vacation

I really liked the quietness of Dalpin Island. The place I stayed was really nice. The only thing was one of the cookers we were going to use had dried eggs in it and the coffee machine had coffee grounds left in it. The host of the property was an absolute blessing. Overall I’d stay again…I would just hope that the housekeeping did a better job!

Young child friendly vacation

We really enjoyed our stay here with our 4 yr old and 18 mo old. The wagon, toys, and chairs were clutch, as was being on the water, albeit it is a decent walk to the beach given wide sand dunes. Our condo was missed by the cleaner, but the owner was great in terms of arranging cleaning shortly after arrival and making the situation right. Would stay here again.

Dauphin Island family vacation

Our first time at Dauphin Island. Brought my wife, son, daughter in law, and 3 grandkids for a family vacation. Very relaxing, beach was very clean and nice, pools, hot tub, steam room, and condo was very clean. We highly recommend this.

Fantastic Condo!

We loved everything about this rental and its owner. Everything was clean and in great condition. Beds were comfy. The deck furniture was wonderful - our family of 8 ate outside at the large table almost every meal. There was plenty of room for us to spread out in the living room. Both bathrooms were large with closed off toilet rooms - a nice feature when you have a large group. Th condo was loaded with everything we needed - beach towels, sand blankets, beach bags, a cart, boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc. The kitchen was also loaded - blender, crockpots, air fryer, muffin pans, a griddle, coffee pots, tools for grilling or for kebobs and fish, pitchers to make tea or lemonade, etc. The owner was friendly and very responsive. She gave great recommendations for where to put our kayaks in the water, etc. We were thoroughly pleased with every part of our trip and will certainly look no further and happily rent this unit again the next time we are in Dauphin Island.

Excellent host

This was our first visit to the property. Cathy is a first-rate host and the unit is nice and very well stocked. Among other kindnesses, she graciously allowed us some flexibility with check in/out times since other renters were not coming or going the same days. One of my favorite things about this unit is the extra-spacious balcony and its furnishings. There are two seating groups on either end, and a table set-up in the middle and still there was plenty of open space. We enjoyed the beach and both pools. The covered parking option was a plus, and there were plenty of luggage carts. We liked the complex and would go back!

Great Experience

This location is very unique. The sand bars around the island keep the waves small enough for the kids to play safely. There are lots of fish to swim with and plenty of crab fishing at night.

Dauphin Island Condo

We had a wonderful stay at this condo! It was super clean and nice. We had 7 people in our group and there was PLENTY of room to spread out. Convenient location right on the beach (short walk on the boardwalk) close to restaurants and snack places. Cathy was great with info and procedures and everything went smooth. Definitely recommend!
