This house has a wonderful layout. No one draws the short straw for bedrooms because they are all great! The beds are comfy and even with nine people we never felt crowded. The location is fantastic. You are steps from your own beach that you don't have to share. The outdoor space is wonderful and roomy, too. The kitchen is well equipped and the appliances are nice. The washer was moldy smelling, but hey...I didn't go there to do laundry. One nice thing is that there were extra beach towels, sunscreen, and bug spray.
There are some minor issues: Some of the furniture is broken or limping and there are missing furniture cushions and torn screens. Those weren't a big deal, but for over $5,000 for the week, I expected more.
The TV in the main room is kind of a big deal. While we were there, the weather was a little sketch and it would have been nice to have movie nights. The problem is that the TV is pretty old - definitely not a smart TV - and there's a growing starburst in the center distracting from everything you watch.
The biggest problem we had by far is that the wifi is terrible, nay...almost non-existent. If you are on a working vacation, do not rent this house. With spotty cell service, we couldn't even use a hotspot reliably. This was a big problem because we all had planned to work while vacationing.
We also had an issue when the power went out in one of the bedrooms, however it was addressed within hours.
All things considered, I would stay here again if I didn't have to work and the TV was updated.
