"My daughter snd I stayed for two nights at this delightful property. The ferry is close by, and it was very easy to find once we’d crossed over from Dartmouth. It was very, very quiet, which we loved and we heard beautiful birdsong in the mornings. Place is cute and cosy, and we had all the amenities we needed. A short walk away is a “general “ shop. And also within quick walking distance are two pubs with great food. The wee private garden was wonderful, as well. Would definitely come back!"

The property was extremely clean and is well laid out with a good size kitchen very functional shower room and two nice sized bedrooms on at front and one at the rear with a good sized living room between them and not forgetting the balcony with view. "We loved our stay...Alix is a great host and very quick to respond, also very kindly allowed us to check in a little earlier. The Old Stables itself is well positioned; only minutes from the town but nicely tucked away...The kitchen and bathroom are lovely and spotlessly clean - bathroom has gorgeous rainfall shower :) bed was very comfortable...all much appreciated after a long day walking. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend!"

"Have to walk through rubbish area then up external concrete stairs to flat. Parking space awkward to get into but ok for small car. Once inside, flat was warm, welcoming and nicely decorated and furnished. Some of the fittings and equipment looked new although kitchen tap dripped. Efficient, plentiful heating, great bathroom and decent, matching crockery.. Nice outside sitting area. Would definitely stay again. It would have been useful to have been sent a list of items that are provided, as I...

"We had a lovely stay at this amazing house. It was perfectly set out giving 4 generations their own space. The kitchen was well equipped and the fridge space was brilliant. The pool was excellent and enjoyed by everyone. The host was lovely and always available by email if you needed anything."
