"The location was great. It felt like you were completely isolated and not in a neighborhood. At first we thought being by the railroad tracks would be a headache but we honestly found it to not be a problem and enjoyed the train horn when it came by. The rules at the end of check out were not lengthy and super easy to do."

"The school office was the perfect size for the 2 of us. We could not get over the uniqueness and the great idea. Everything was very, very clean. Towels and sheets were bright white and the faint smell of bleach is refreshing. There wasn't much to do or see around the immediate town, but the 2 state parks within 15 minutes were both fantastic. The hosts were great, they left an adorable welcome gift bag and were very quick to communicate."

"The house was exactly as it looks in the photos. Very charming and clean. Also peaceful. Just be aware that the “2 twin beds in the common space” are the two (very hard) futons in the living room. My group was made up of seven 40-yr-old women and there was no way any of us could sleep on those things, so two of us ended up having to share one of the actual twin beds in a bedroom. I highly suggest taking an air mattress and your own pillows if you have more than 6 people over the age of 25!"

"Huge old house with good bones, and a remodel in progress. The 3 bathrooms have been updated, and there are good beds, linens and towels. Some simple things like reading lights in the bedrooms, in addition to the ceiling light you have to get out of bed to turn off, would make it more liveable. The floors throughout are wood, and some rugs would make it quieter and more comfortable. "Great communication with the owner; he was extremely helpful when we booked another spot but for the wrong days! He came to the rescue with his new space just coming in the market. "We booked for Purdue Graduation and the owner was amazing communicator and super helpful. Location was super close to the restaurants downtown and maybe 7-8 min from campus. House was clean and had everything we needed. Owner threw in some nice extras - chips, sodas, washer pods for washing machine, candy, etc. It’s kinda tight if you have >4 but for our group of 3 it was perfect. Might want to add some ice cube trays ; that would have been helpful and maybe consider adding a few smaller glasses...
