We had the best Christmas at the Island Rum Away! Excellent location, exceptionally well stocked with everything and clean. Loved the sunrise on the water/marsh in the mornings. Would highly recommend!!

Wonderful

Everything about this place is done with excellence. The furniture is comfortable and thoughtful. The beds are so comfortable. The bedding and towels are all cotton, fresh and abundant. The back porch furniture you can spend hours on and the jacuzzi is well maintained and very large. The fishing pier is wonderful, and we got up early most mornings just to watch the breathtaking sunrise. The management, Covenant Properties, were very communicative. We didn't have a problem, but they made themselves available for any issues. Enjoy your Stay!

Spring break get away!

The house was very clean and in a quiet neiborhood. Roomy enough for our family of 6. The hot tub was so nice to relax in. We were able to dock our boat for the weekend no enjoy some fishing inshore. Would definitely stay here again!!

Marsh getaway

The best place to stay. It’s truly a magical place, the view of the marsh is exceptional. The amenities are wonderful.. I will stay here again and again. We love it here.

17th Anniversary

Great place to go to relax. Very quiet, with lots of wildlife to look at. Even caught some fish and crabs from the dock! Will definately try to re-book in the future.

Perfect!

This is actually the first review I have ever done. But this place was amazing. For those who are bringing a boat. We came in on a super low full moon tide and had no troubles with our triple engine 38’ boat. The house was beautiful and well equipped. I will definitely be back. Thanks agin for the wonderful stay.

Great time

Great house and neighborhood, loved the living spaces, back deck/hot tub/bird feeder and dock! Very comfortable accommodations, fit our needs perfectly! Have a plan for the biting gnats, youch!

Wonderful place! Loved it!!!

We had an amazing time here! We enjoyed the fishing, kayaking, bicycle, mostly the hot tub with a beautiful view! The house was beautiful and had all you need! We had a wonderful time!

Stunning, Relaxing, Comfortable

We can't say enough about this property! We had such an amazing stay for our wedding anniversary. The home is gorgeous and decorated so beautifully with all the comforts of home. We spent a great deal of time in the hot tub with the stunning views, colorful sunrises, and more stars than we've ever seen before. Fishing was fun with some redfish, perch, flounder, and a couple of ornery stingrays. Paddle boards, bikes, kayaks and so much more! The owners have thought of everything and we didn't want for a thing while there. Truly a fantastic experience and we will absolutely book here again. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Great getaway.

Great house on Tolomato Island. Enjoyed the view of Sapelo. The house included kayaks and bikes which was great to explore the island and creeks.

Cozy, Out of the way home

Property was very nice and maintained. It has a great variety of kitchen and outdoor items to be used. We were able to use the dock for our boat and it was very nice. The only downsides are it was ~30 mins to Wal-Mart for those items we forgot at home and there were no lights on the dock for night time fishing/docking the boat. We would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again!

Marsh Getaway

This home was amazing. It had everything and more. The marsh breezes, sipping our coffee on the front porch watching the birds fly by. The view was an ever changing painting that could only be made by nature. I love, love , loved it! So did our family. We rode the bikes down the street through the island, it was absolute magic. We definitely will be back again. A true gem of a home.

This house is so lovely and so well appointed

The marsh view was stunning; the beds were super comfortable and the linens were really nice; the kitchen and bathrooms have been recently updated and were very clean. I especially appreciated how generous the owners were with their house—including access to their bikes, kayaks, hot tub and beach gear. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need and there are plenty of cozy spots to read. We’ll definitely be back!

Perfect family getaway

My family and I enjoyed absolutely everything about our stay. The house was amazing. The extras where more than we could have imagined. The neighborhood was beautiful. We are already talking about another visit in the warmer months so we can take advantage of more of what this property offered. Oh and to stay in that bed again. Thank you for making this a perfect get away for my family and I.

Family Christmas

This beautiful property was a perfect fit for our family. The coastal setting and sunrises are inspirational. In addition the lovely decor and tasteful Christmas touches were greatly appreciated. There was one small glitch due to the unusually cold temperatures but the manger and homeowners were quick to respond and very accommodating. We would definitely return. Thanks!

Beautiful House

This rental was amazing. Everything about it was comfortable and beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed fishing and crabbing from the dock and spending time sitting on the porch as we watched a few storms roll through. The master bed was probably the most comfortable that we have ever slept in - so much so that I kept telling myself to find out the type of mattress but forgot to do so. I would highly recommend this house for anyone that is seeking peace and tranquillity away from any hustle and bustle.

Perfect getaway

What an unbelievable place. Watching the sunrise the sunsets fishing and crabbing from the dock my family had an unbelievable vacation here. Highly recommend the area
