"Llegamos y oh! sorpresa el elevador no funciona. Somos adultos mayores y ellos lo sabían, ademas de que nuestro cuarto era en el ultimo piso para tener el balcón y la vista. No entiendo porque no nos avisaron con tiempo para cambiar de planes. Lo mas triste es que ni siquiera les importó un comino. "This rental is one of the best on the market. If you have not stayed at The Seagate, you should really look at it for your next trip to St. Simons. Everything that you need is within walking distance with a beautiful beach with access point right at your front door. The view from our room of the ocean was amazing to wake up to everyday and listen to the ocean waves every night. The evenings were spectacular to watch the sun set over the water. "

"The condo is exactly as states and pictured- very modern and nicely decorated. We made this our home base for a week of exploring St Simon’s Island and Jekyll Island. "A wonderful visit. Condo was nice. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5: had nothing to do with condo itself...pool umbrellas need to be replaced- many were broken. Could not get to beach from property due to waters stagnating and remaining in the green space between property and beach. Most of the properties had this problem. "It was beautiful. Well equipped kitchen. We did not know where the outside trash cans were so we went to the other condo and put our trash in the dumpster. Not sure if that was correct or not.We did take the trolley historic tour and that was lovely. We ate at several of your suggested restaurants. "

"House was absolutely fantastic. Nice to find houses where each bedroom has its own bathroom. Kitchen had all necessary items with extra large fridge. We really enjoyed the rooftop terrace for cocktails in the evening. Will definitely look at booking this property if we find our way back to the island. Mary was extremely helpful and available. OBTW, the elevator works just fine as long as you follow the directions. Thanks Mary, our family had a great time."
