Chose it mainly cos it was dog friendly but would certainty go back without the dogs, is a short walk into Ripon centre and there looked to be lots of nice bars and restaurants. "

"Upon arrival at the Grantham Arms, we were welcomed warmly by staff. The atmosphere was friendly and cheerful on the Saturday before Christmas. Our room was well-appointed and very cosy. "Staff were very helpful, especially the gentleman at the front desk. Room was great, great view, clean, spacious shower. Breakfast was excellent, much more than the basic continental breakfast I was expecting, particularly the vegan sausage and other vegetarian options."

"Had a lovely stay here. Welcoming staff on arrival, clean , comfy and spacious rooms, a better than expected gym, and nice food. The rooms were cosy and had everything required, free toiletries in the bathroom which was a nice touch. The gym was great considering it was a hotel gym, lots of equipment and free weights. Didn’t use the spa but looked more than good enough and clean. Ate here for breakfast and evening meal. Wasn't a massive menu but a good selection and was enjoyable. A...
