"The General's Cabin was a wonderful place for my husband and me to celebrate our anniversary and my birthday. The cabin was exceptionally clean. Melissa had thought of everything you could possibly need. Inside had a well-stocked kitchen, a great coffee/tea bar, lots of little extras to make the stay enjoyable, extra towels, blankets, pillows etc. In the bathrooms there was a basket of soaps, lotions, shampoos and even toothbrushes in case you forgot to bring your own. "Really awesome hot tub. The Jets were the strongest Jets I’ve ever felt. I loved it. It’s about a four or five minute walk in ski boots to get to the trail.House was adequately stocked for cooking. I do always bring my own pans and knives.They need to restock the forks apparently everybody must’ve thrown them in the garbage. Overall, great house I’d recommend it for families with kids."

"Suited our needs. Slept 12 people comfortably. Private pool and trampoline not pictured. The house feels lived in which felt a little weird but not a deal breaker. Wasnt the cleanest but the cleaning fee isnt horrible. For someone more picky this may not be the place for u for us it was fine, it justbfelt like they had kids. Not much close by, a few small restaurants and a dollar general. If your from NY dont even try the pizza place close by in Vermont. The reviews are good but if you are used...

"This was perfect for our family to participate in The Cirque Series Race at Killingto as well as the ease of enjoying the nearby restaurants and scenery. We hiked some of the green ski trails right out the door. The living room couch is so cozy. We lounged around and played games. Close to the Distillery and many restaurants.
