Host seems in it only for the money

I booked this stay last minute because my child had an expected medical appt in the area so we decided to spend the weekend. I originally book thru VRBO and thought everything was fine. I then got a message from the host saying because it was last minute I would have to cancel and book thru the competing air site. Because options in the area were slim I obliged, however thru the competing site I was then charged by the host over 150 more which felt unfair. If the listing isn’t available for last minute bookings then don’t have it available to book last minute. The beds and pillows are extremely uncomfortable so if you stay here I advise at the least bring your own pillows. Even at 72 it gets extremely hot in the house because there are no overhead fan circulation and only two small fans in the house. The kitchen has no cutting board and is very limited with its stock. There are signs everywhere saying no sand in the house or you will be charged, I understand excessive sand but being a house geared towards the beach it’s inevitable that you will get some sand in the house, coming from the beach to the house to shower it’s impossible to leave the all the sand behind. If you need a late checkout don’t bother asking because they will not provide it. In fact the maids were waiting at the door 15 minutes before we were due to checkout which I felt was unprofessional. Overall host seem more about charging for everything over guest experience

Dana Point vacation

The VRBO was clean and inviting. There were 3 travelers in our group and we were happy to each have our own bedroom. The kitchen was great! It had everything we needed to make a few meals and hang out. When I contacted the management about a burner knob coming off, they responded immediately and sent someone over within 20 minutes. Very friendly and helpful! I highly recommend this unit and would stay again if/when coming back to Dana Point, CA. The only complaint would be the neighbors who park in the street and their vehicle blocks a small portion of the driveway, making it a little difficult to get in and out. Otherwise a great place to stay!

Beautiful Beach House in the middle of Southern Cal

We rented this beach house because it was in the middle of LA and San Diego that did not disappoint. The area of Dana Point is a secret gem. It’s such a cute costal town. Whale watching at Dana Point Is a must! The host was very respectful and responsive. The house was very clean and well cared for. I would most definitely stay again.

From the East Coast

My husband and I stayed for a wedding in San Clemente however had been there a few days before in San Diego visiting family as well. We all 4 adults 2 babies and 1 toddler fit comfortable in this home with plenty of space to enjoy the luxury! Renting made easy by contract and access to the property

California wedding trip

I am the mother of the groom from the East Coast. We had family flying in from all over. We all selected house rentals. I got the best one. We had 7 people for 5 days. The duplex was immaculate. It had everything we needed. Home away from home. Highly recommend this property.

Awesome beach house

This property has it all for your family. It was clean and quiet. We cooked several times and enjoyed using the air fryer. Our kids were too young to use the bikes but it would have been an excellent option for teens. A hidden gem in Dana point

We enjoyed our stay at this home in Dana Point. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Quick drive for us to the beaches. The home was very clean and beautifully remodeled. Great kitchen and nice bathrooms. There was a good selection of beach gear in the garage. Well equipped home.

Nice place to stay

This was a nice place to stay for a girlfriends trip to the CA coast. Easy access to Dana Point, Laguna Beach and San Clemente areas. Home was clean, plenty of bath towels, comfortable beds and had good instructions on how operate electronics and other items. Enjoyed the patio in the evening. Really appreciated the beach towels and chairs for our use. Suggestions: add a dresser or small table in the bunk bed room and 2 additional chairs in living room.

Perfect week!

This beautiful and pristine beach cottage is newly updated and was a perfect size for our large family. The location was outstanding! So close to the highway, the Pacific Coast Highway, shopping and 5 minutes from the beach. They have boogie boards and surf boards and beach chairs which we used on a daily basis. Every morning and evening we started and ended our days on the cozy patio. They couldn’t have made it easier for us to check in and check out. We absolutely loved it and hope to return again.

Beautiful well appointed and clean home

5 star property, furnishings, and location. Stayed with a family of four and had a fantastic stay at this rental. House was extremely clean and comfortable with even robes waiting for us after a shower. A short 5 minute ride to the beaches and harbor. Had amazing coffee at Rosetta’s and a great launch spot to Catalina island. Will be back again!
