I got a call on the day of check in that the house we booked wasn't available but the owner had a house right next door which was the same, turned out to be a good house but just kind of frustrating when the pics you look at online aren't the actual house you will be staying in. I booked this house for my family for my daughters 21st Birthday, we were all supposed to stay together but my brother and his kids and some other family were coming along last minute so we decided to get another place down the street and let the 21 year olds have their space, we stopped by throughout the weekend but so did the owner, he stopped by about 4-5 times "Just to check in" at one point he was yelling at my daughter and demanded a copy of her ID as well as a copy of my ID. As I told him on the phone if you aren't comfortable renting your house out then don't. I understand that it was a group of 21-24 year olds and he might be nervous however the listing states minimum renting age is 21 and our group gave him no reason to fear anything and the day we left he sent a text saying thank you very much we were welcome back anytime but as I said above we gave him no reason to be nervous and if you are so nervous about your house then don't rent it out and don't have the minimum age of 21. So if you don't mind a guy stopping by to "Check In" then this would be a great house in a great location but typically when I rent a house which we do often I would rather be left alone than watched all weekend.
