"The surrounding area to the property is gorgeous and has great potential for a nice place to get away; however, the lack of information prior to arriving was a bit of a let down. Firstly, there was no indication before arriving that the place we would be staying at was currently in the process of being remodeled. In addition, the unit was in great condition and had all required amenities noted. The outdoor porch was especially nice along with the parking space. We really enjoye the stay."

"Yes, it was a little out of the ordinary, but that's a good thing! Easiest "camping" experience you'll ever have. Your own private (new, flush) commode, kitchen, and huge shower! A/c and heat in the camper. What more could you want? Definitely an adventure in the hills of eastern Virginia."

"Granny's House is a delight! From the cozy back porch to the very comfortable beds, everything in the house was designed for a relaxing stay. The kitchen had everything we could need for our visit. Two bathrooms and excellent separation of the bedrooms allowed our two couples to have plenty of privacy, but the common areas were spacious enough to give all of us, plus our family who live nearby, a convenient and comfortable place to eat and visit together during our stay.
