"This cabin was just what we were looking for! Beautiful views, lots and LOTS of space to run around, easy access to trails and so peaceful. We took the advice of the guide and visited Chet’s Place for dinner and visited the nearby lake. Both were great. My family and I had the most wonderful time and would love to return! 10/10 - would recommend!"

"This was our 3rd trip here, and even with some rainy days, as usual, it did not disappoint! "Our good friends daughter was getting married at the Fern Hall Estate and we did not like the hotel options provided. We couldn’t have had a better weekend. The house is bigger and better than the listing shows. We were a party of 8 adults and a 1 year old and theee was plenty of room for all. The house was furnished beautifully."

"My husband and I spent the weekend at the Elwood Escape for our wedding anniversary. We really enjoyed the set up of the home and we spent a lot of time in the back yard by the fire pit. We took advantage of the hikes and were able to bring our small dog with us. We also loved that one of the restaurants/bar was across the street from the home and were able to walk to the location. Over all we enjoyed this nice quiet escape from the city."

"We had so much fun hanging around the fire, playing mini golf, ping pong, and pool. We walked to the local ponds to fish and we caught pickerel, bass, and yellow perch. We golfed 9 holes on a beautiful golf course in the hideout. And we sat around the fire at night and enjoyed that. The house was more than big enough to sleep 15 of us. One day, my dad grilled 40 burgers and 30 hot dogs on the grill and we all sat around the table to have a feast. Not a lot of places have a table to seat...

"Yoel is an amazing host. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a fun and productive weekend with our team. He checked in and made himself available to answer questions. The house is beautiful and well furnished. There are multiple coffee stations and plenty of places to gather. The neighborhood is excellent. We had people driving in from all over the Northeast and Scranton was the perfect central location."

"Our boys fished the entire day and night away catching and releasing! There was plenty of outddoor space for a family get together. We had great host that answered any question we had. The house is exactlly as shown in pictures. The "cozy sleeping area" is just as much a bedroom as the others. We visit p.a often as i have family there! We have found our new everytime stay! "This was our 4th or 5th year staying at this property, and we again had a great stay. They layout is perfect for a multi-generational group. The massive kitchen table allowed us to eat all meals together, and the multiple levels allowed us to spread out when we needed to. The owner was extremely helpful when we were trying to figure out the fireplace controls, as was the property manager. We definitely recommend!"

"Everything was on point from the booking to leaving. The owner even let us have a late checkout. The place was amazing and the view was beautiful.
