The host himself was great very kind, helpful, and made sure I checked in smoothly and got settled in. Unfortunately, my actual stay was challenging.I stayed here for 19 nights on a business trip. The location felt very unsafe. One night, I went to a Pizza Hut just two minutes away and was assaulted by a woman with a gun. She even followed me around my car trying to see where I lived. I had to call the police, and it took them about two hours to arrive. They later told me this wasn’t her first incident in the area. I definitely wouldn’t recommend walking or driving around after dark. The apartment itself had several issues. The bedroom window is right by a walkway, so it was very noisy at night. One night, a woman was outside on the phone talking loudly about a fight until 5AM I could hear every word, I did not sleep that night. The A/C only cools the living room, kitchen, and bathroom, not the bedroom. I ended up sleeping on the couch many nights because it was just too hot to sleep in the bedroom.Parking was also a daily struggle. There are more people living here than there are spots, so cars constantly block each other in. Some mornings, I was almost late to work because I couldn’t get my car out.The host himself was nice, which is why I gave 3 stars instead of less. This place has potential, but I wish there had been a clear warning about the safety concerns, the A/C, and the parking situation.
