This was a nice property for our stay. It was very clean, pleasantly decorated, and very comfortable. I suggest mentioning that it requires people to climb two long staircases, as accessibility could be an issue. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and slept well.

Location was great, I’d use caution with younger kids

The communication between our host was great. The location was great. The pool was so fun! Checking in was a lot on the first day, but only because there are multiple buildings & codes haha.The condo itself was clean and good. My only 2 complaints are two of the beds are slightly broken. We had to lift the king mattress and try & fix the middle piece, and the one by the laundry room as well.The biggest thing is I would use caution if you have younger kids. We had 4 kids ranging 4-9 years and on the first day got in trouble twice. Once the kids were dancing and the second they were playing hide & seek (as kids do) and we almost got kicked out. We also put our trash out on the first full day during the proper time and it was never picked up so we left it out thinking they would grab it eventually. We got in trouble for that as well.The rest of the trip felt anxious as we were having our kids whisper and were worried about any noise being made. I’d say being on the third floor is what makes it tricky with younger kids. The location was perfect and the host was very responsive.

This place has a lot of stairs.....no elevators. Other than some of the walls needing a fresh coat of paint, upgraded towels, pots, pans, and forks this place was nice. We enjoyed the stay

Hidden Treasure

We had an amazing time at The Colony. The hosts were very responsive and the property was both charming and functional. The pool and hot tube were a huge bonus! Definitely recommend this property!

Gesamteindruck: Es hat alles gepasst.Verbesserungswürdig: Die Beschreibung, denn es wurde nicht erwähnt, dass das Apartment nur über eine lange Treppe erreichbar ist.Sauberkeit: Das Apartment war grundsätzlich sauber, allerdings gab es eine tote Wespe im Fenster und die Lüftungsgitter verstaubt.

Family get away

Our family enjoyed a getaway at this location, hoping for a relaxing and pleasant experience. However, upon arrival, we immediately noticed a strong, enclosed odor. Concerned, we promptly went out to purchase air fresheners to make the environment more bearable.Additionally, the king-size bed in the main bedroom and the bed next to the laundry room were quite uncomfortable, which impacted the quality of our sleep. As our stay progressed, we started experiencing increasing respiratory issues. My spouse, in particular, began waking up every morning with a migraine, adding to our concerns.On the third day, while inspecting the premises more closely, I discovered mold growing around the windows in the living room. Further investigation revealed that this was not an isolated issue every room with windows had signs of mold growth. I promptly informed the host about the situation, who mentioned they had mold detection equipment and suggested we should have reported the smell earlier.Despite mentioning mold detection equipment, the host only suggested covering up the odor rather than addressing the underlying safety concerns related to the mold. Prioritizing the health and safety of my family, we decided to cut our stay short and check out early.It's important for the host to address this mold issue thoroughly to ensure the safety and well-being of future guests.

Nice location, not a very welcoming space

We stayed for 5 nights with our four kids and my parents, in town to see the solar eclipse. The check-in process was rather clunky, and we weren’t given our check-in information until five minutes before we could check-in, which made coordinating with a large group arriving at different times challenging. The space was clean, but one of the bathroom doors was locked when we arrived and we had to find a screwdriver to take apart the doorknob in order to get in. There was also only three rolls of toilet paper (the host did arrange for a delivery for more when we noticed we were out). There are signs warning that scam/fraud will be prosecuted in the living room, which didn’t feel very welcoming. The kitchen was pretty bare-bones and didn’t have very many pots/pans, or things you’d expect to see in a kitchen like a pizza cutter, strainer, containers/bowls, or dish towels. We ate most of our meals out, but if we had tried to cook I think we would have had a hard time. No blow dryer in the bathrooms either. I was hoping there would be a stash of board games/puzzles or something like that, for kids/adults to be able to enjoy time together, but they didn’t have any. Overall it is in a great location with plenty to do close-by, and the condo pool is nice as well, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re hoping to spend more than just sleeping time in the space.

Great Stay!

The condo was just as pictured. It was very clean and very comfortable. It is in a great location also. We felt very safe during out stay. We would definitely consider staying here again. The price was very reasonable for our stay. The renter was very responsive to any questions that we had. We would surely recommend this condo for anyone staying in this area.

This was a beautiful property! It was so nice to be able to feel like home and have space away from home. The location was incredible and so close to so many things we wanted to do!
