Absolutely awful

As soon as we checked in we noticed a very foul smell in the home. We had a negative physical reaction to the air quality in the house; it smelled like mold to us. The home had multiple air fresheners in different rooms, this just made the smell worse. We let the host know that we could not stay at the property and were leaving. Within minutes of this message two people showed up to argue with us regarding the smell in the house. The whole experience was unfortunate and uncomfortable.

Wonderful location

Super cute clean house stocked well in kitchen- coffee, etc. super comfy bed. Great shower. Cute front porch and awesome backyard seating area! Odd smell, however, in one of the lower kitchen cabinets. Could not locate source. Would recommend this cute lil bungalow.

I think my rating tells it all. Due to the overall moderate discontent, will not be returning because the location was very convenient to my son's home near White Rock Lake. What was quite disturbing, and the MAJOR complaint, was the smell in the entire space. The primary smell was an intense odor of cooked/spoiled cabbage. Also, a minor smell annoyance was a mild smell of urine. However, I will continue to use VRBO due to our overall satisfaction over the many tears we've used them. Got to believe their business model has changed because their vetting process appears to have declined. Maybe it has to do with their maintenance subcontractor.

Great location & spacious

Stayed here to be near SMU and it was great for that! A little ant problem in the kitchen, but it was being addressed. Will definitely stay again. So much more space than a hotel! Perfect for a couple, and ample room to have friends over for dinner or drinks.

Second Stay

The property host was very responsive to an issue we had with the tv. Great communication. My only issue was there was no water pressure in the bathroom. Hard to was your hands or face. The white couch in the living room will need to be cleaned soon. Hard to keep white clean.

Cozy privacy in great location

I visit friends in the upper Dallas region fairly consistently and in my opinion the local hotel properties have gone down in quality while going up in price. This property was far better than a hotel room and I really enjoyed having access to a working kitchen stocked with cooking utensils and a comfy living room and bedroom. Wi-fi worked fine as well for work zoom calls.

Medical stay

My daughter had elective surgery coming from New York. We have close friends that live nearby in Dallas and the surgical facility was nearby as well which made the vrbo location ideal. Everything was very convenient, safe, and comfortable. I highly recommend it and will stay here again if I need to come back. Love the front porch chairs and breeze!

The pictures are exactly what you'll get, it's a really nice home in a nice neighborhood. It's very comfortable to relax in with all the amenities you need to feel at home. The backyard is a really nice place to relax, with a nice outdoor couch and table. The problems are it's old - The shower head provides very poor water flow. Could be corrected very easily with a different shower head. - The bathroom exhaust fan doesn't work, probably easy to remedy. - The bed didn't look like it was made recently, or at least wasn't made to look neat and clean. - No TV access (no antennae), so you can't watch local news without a streaming account. This could also be corrected very inexpensively. - Pantry has old food/coffee. I tried to make coffee but it leaked all over the counter. They have a Keurig but don't offer any Keurig cups. Very inexpensive to provide a few essentials that aren't old/expired. - The kitchen sink setup is weird, not very functional - There's about 1/4 of the home locked off. Additionally, there's this attic space open to the interior of the home. Kind of cool, but a little weird, you can lock the door to that space. - The bathroom door handle fell off. Again, it's an older home, the doors don't all latch. Overall, I would rent this place again, I feel safe and comfortable. If they would do the bare minimum improvements it's would easily be a 5 star experience.

Charming house!

I enjoyed a delightful stay at this charming house. The interior is tastefully decorated, exceptionally clean, and boasts a well-equipped kitchen stocked with all the essentials and more. The bed is incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. While it seems the windows may not open, the house has a fresh and clean ambiance with no lingering odors or chemicals. The large-screen TV offers a variety of channels for entertainment. The bathroom is well-appointed, complete with shampoo and conditioner. A lovely sitting area in the backyard adds to the overall appeal. The location is fantastic - a safe and quiet neighborhood within walking distance to Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, numerous cafes, and restaurants. Danielle, the host, is incredibly accommodating. She responded promptly to all my inquiries within minutes. I'm eagerly anticipating the opportunity to stay here again.

Perfect location in great neighborhood

We were very comfortable staying for a week at this lovely home. The lower Greenville Avenue area was the perfect location with lots of shops and restaurants nearby including Whole Foods. The house had everything that we needed including a well equipped chef's kitchen. We would definitely stay here again!
