We loved the architecture and interior design. The private courtyard was charming and the place had everything we needed to cook and wash clothes for our stay. It was a very short walk to the Bishop Arts and was surprisingly quiet, especially at night! We easily were able to walk to the CVS, the local park and then Swirled Peace (highly recommended!!), all in one outing!
Unfortunately, the unit smelled strongly of weed when we first arrived. I played text tag with the host for hours and their internal communications seemed a bit lacking. The host apparently attempted to meet us but didn't tell us they were coming, so my husband and I missed them because we had gone out to dinner. Thankfully, the smell somewhat dissipated by the time we got back to the unit because I was still not getting any resolution from the host after several back & forths. Quite disappointing they didn't have any compensation for this annoying inconvenience. They were, however, quick to take care of a car that was parked uncomfortably close to our courtyard.
Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would recommended it for the unique architecture & quiet nights, as long as one was able to deal with a few potential annoyances.
