We had a wonderful stay. When we got stranded during a winter storm, the host went above and beyond to accommodate us. Communication was fast and seamless, and the space felt just like home. The location is right in the middle of everything—perfect for enjoying city life.

Centrally located to all the fun deep ellum locales

Everything was as described. I was glad the sheets had been changed to something a bit more muted. The pool was quite nice and the fully equipt gym was great (could use a yoga mat though but thats minor). Only complaint was looking for street parking every time was a bit annoying but the parking is definitely available

Inaccurate location and defensive when asked

The day before my trip I received the actual location. In the listing it states that it’s right next to the farmers market and .9 miles or a 19 minute walk to the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas. I asked for clarification and the host stated that they were going to cancel my trip. I made other arrangements and then the host stated that my reservation was still good. I contacted BHowever, once the actual location is received, it indicates that it’s actually a 38-minute walk and 1.8 miles to the convention center. I asked the host for clarification, and they said that due to construction, the distance is different. I stated that this is much further than I would have preferred and that this felt like a bait and switch. The host then identified that they would be canceling my reservation. I made other plans but the host came back 4 hours later and said they decided to not cancel my reservation. Now with two reservations and neither able to cancel. I opted for the hotel that was downtown. I contacted VRBO help, and since the host never actually canceled, their hands appeared to be tied. I spent more time on this than would have been worth it. This was an absolute fail by VRBO and this host.

Outstanding Gem in the heart of Deep Ellum

This unit was fabulous! Well-appointed with top-of-the-line appliances, and some really unique features. I wasn't sure if I would use the movie projector, but I have to admit I used it every night!The unit was sparkling clean, and within walking distance of about a million charming restaurants, bars and music venues. My host was unbelievably attentive, answering every question I had promptly, even providing helpful suggestions to make my stay as pleasant as possible. I would recommend this unit to anyone!

Visit to Dallas

I had a four-day visit to take care of business. This was my teen daughter's first visit to Dallas, which will soon become our home. She was able to experience Deep Ellum, which has an artsy vibe during the day and is definitely the happening place for night life. The site is within walking distance of Main Street, which has stores and eateries. Technically, you can walk to the Dallas Farmers Market in 20 minutes, but it's only a five-minute Uber ride from here. The room is small, but it's ideal for a couple or a single visitor. The apartment was tidy, and the manager was really helpful, detail-oriented, and available.I definitely recommend!

Great location and super cute

This location was perfect for me and I could walk everywhere I needed to go in my business trip. The only complaint I have is that while I was there the electronics in the building were acting funny and the elevators/door didn’t work sometimes. The electronic lock on the front door of the apartment stopped working also, however, the host took care of it immediately and I was only locked out for 2 hours. I would stay here again despite the complaint, all the tenants, I encountered, were friendly :)

A must stay

This stay is very local to everything you can take a 5 minute walk and be surrounded by different food options, shops, bars, and activities. The people in the complex are also pretty friendly. I would definitely recommend this stay. It’s about 20 minutes from other surrounding popular areas like Addison and 30 ish minutes from DFW. The host is also responsive and accommodating

Great views!

Very nice place! Great location with amazing views. Plenty of things to do near by. Just make sure you read cancellation policy. We needed to cancel based on the hike up priced airfare. Attempted 10 days before trip and it was non refundable. Fortunately we were able to make the trip happen.

Could not have asked for a better host! We had the absolute best communication before, during, and after our trip. I especially appreciated the pictures that were included with the directions- that made finding the place and the parking so much easier. We loved all of the amenities- the projector, the w/d, the video games, the kitchen. The location is great and the building felt very secure. We would absolutely come back and stay again. Just a heads up (nothing that the host can control but good to know): -If you are a light sleeper, remember that this is downtown and you will still be able to hear ambient noise from outside through those big beautiful windows. Either bring earplugs to sleep with or download an app for sleep sounds. -A fire alarm went off our first morning there, which gave us the opportunity to get to know other people in the building. We got the impression that happened fairly regularly due to electrical and plumbing issues, so don’t panic too much. There are a lot of great places to eat around there, so make sure to grab your wallet on the way out. -The neighbors also mentioned there had been some car break ins, we didn’t see anything but be safe and don’t leave anything in sight. The garage is VERY secure, I was not worried about my car and would absolutely come back to stay. -There’s a place called Mad Dogs nearby that has a deal for a corn dog and fries for $8. It’s the best corn dog; we are still talking about it. You should definitely go get one.
