Nestled on the edge of a golf course and surrounded by beautiful Solway Coast countryside, the lodge is a stones throw away from Sandyhills one of the best beaches in the region!
With lots to explore throughout the area our cosy and welcoming lodge is the perfect base with plenty of space for up to 6 guests.
Furry friends welcome! The space Take a picture perfect drive through Colvend Golf Club where you will find Bainloch Lodge nestled in a slightly elevated position overlooking the beautiful Scottish countryside.
Enter the lodge to find a beautifully presented open plan kitchen, dining and sitting area. The fully equipped kitchen is great for meal preparation and being open plan you won't miss out on that all important family time!
The spacious sitting and dining area is light and bright with comfortable sofa and armchairs for a great evening relaxing in front of the TV after a fun packed day exploring all our region has to offer, alternatively there is plenty of room for family games night at the 6 seater dining table! Sliding doors lead out to the wraparound decking area making it a fantastic spot on warmer days when a lovely breeze drifts through the lodge.
Move along the hallway to find the 3 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 is a great size with super comfortable double bed and plenty of wardrobe space, bedroom 2 is again a good size with twin single beds and with the addition of a cot the lodge really does cater for all ages! Bedroom 3 is simply loved by children with it's bunk beds and they will quickly claim this as their special hideaway!
The main bathroom is a spacious room and sports both a full size bath and shower for convenience, with over basin vanity unit there is plenty of space to store toiletries and a heated towel rail ensures there is always warm towels.
Moving outside, the wrap around decking area is simply fantastic for long summer evenings (we get more than you think in Scotland)! The built in bench is perfect for a morning coffee or evening glass of wine and with the additional outside table & chairs many a happy hour can be spent enjoying the views over our gorgeous countryside. In addition there is a small enclosed garden area to the rear of the lodge which is ideal for pets to explore safely.
Sandyhills is just around the corner and a short walk from the lodge and is one of the regions most stunning beaches.
There are plenty of things to do when staying at Bainloch Lodge, sunny days at the beach, golf on the doorstep, hiking and walking routes and the 7Stanes cycle trail in nearby Dalbeattie, are only a few of the activities to enjoy during your stay.
We are delighted to welcome back year after year many regular guests at Bainloch Lodge who love the traditional Scottish touches and tranquility of the surroundings, we are so happy that over the years our beautiful part of this stunning and incredible region will be a part of so many happy childhood memories.

Other things to note PLEASE NOTE:- Pets are more than welcome at Bainloch (maximum of 2 well behaved dogs), there is an additional charge of £30 for pets, please advise at time of booking if you are bringing along your furry friend/s.
PLEASE NOTE:- There is a cot available for guest use however linen is not provided for this so please ensure you pack linen for the cot if needed.

The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property. Pets - allowed Smoking - not allowed
