Great location, Pontoon boat friendly
Our family enjoyed our visit to Lake Martin. This was our second time visiting the area. We loved the waterfront location and private dock. Very quiet and small neighborhood. We had no issues unloading our pontoon and making it under the low bridge in the property description. However, keep in mind you will need to lower your bimini and lay down low in your seat to make it under. Once you make it under the bridge you’re good to go. We spent everyday on the boat exploring miles of beautiful Lake Martin. We definitely recommend checking out Chimney Rock. There are several islands around the lake that have areas for anchoring at shoreline and enjoying a nice swim. Two of our favorite restaurants are located less than 10 minutes from this property. Niffers and Oscars. Both offer great food and excellent prices. The house offers ample space for families. The layout is a bit different than other places we’ve stayed. You’ll enter the property on the top floor which has 2 bedrooms, one bathroom and the bonus area. Downstairs you’ll find the living room, kitchen/dining area, another bedroom and bathroom, laundry room and access to the back patio and boat deck. Beds weren’t as comfortable as we would like, but that is personal opinion only. We would definitely recommend this rental to friends and family.
