I am not one to leave negative reviews, but our stay was so disappointing. First, I want to be clear that the house, property and amenities were all great. The property owners have done a really good job with thinking through all the necessities, especially if you bring children and your dog. No complaints at all and we would love to book again, but not with the same property manager. We were there with family to celebrate a birthday. When we arrived and went inside, nothing had been done since the previous people stayed there. Beds were all unmade with dirty sheets, the bathrooms, the kitchen, the floors, glass doors, kitchen table and island were all dirty. We had to wait for the cleaners to arrive and for them to clean for almost three hours. I started cleaning things myself before they got there. The property manager did apologize and said there was a mix up in scheduling. The next day, I texted her and asked if we could stay a few hours late since we didn’t have access at check in time. She said she would have to see if someone was checking in. I didn’t hear back so I texted again the next day, no response. I finally heard back an hour and a half after we had left (at the original stated checkout time). I will be looking into some kind of refund for this unprofessional experience.
