"Excelente y amplio Hotel. Muy bonito. "

"Un Motel tradicional americano, reformado, increíblemente limpio. Bonito y un staff muy amigable."

"Host was very helpful in finding the property. He even waited for me to arrive on a dark, rainy evening."

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Custer Rambler! The location couldn’t have been better, right on the main street in Custer, making it easy to walk to restaurants, shops, and the grocery store directly across the street. The space is decorated with fun Johnny Cash-themed décor that gives it so much personality. Everything was spotless when we arrived, and both the bed and the couch were incredibly comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the host was excellent with...

"Our family stayed in this cabin for a week and absolutely loved it. We knew what to expect with well water, so not a problem. It was perfect for the four of us. The owner was even nice enough to come by and check on us. We would definitely stay here again if ever in Custer in the future."

"Clean. Great location. Within walking distance to town."

"We stayed 3 nights and McKenzie made us feel right at home. She gave advice on restaurants and other need-to-know items when we checked in. Coffee and breakfasts were greatly appreciated and always right at the time promised. All furniture in the common room and outside was very comfortable as was the bed in our room. Thisnis a lovely property. Highly recommend Dakota Dream for anyone traveling to the Custer area!"

"We were traveling a long way and had a reservation. The cabin was easy to find, perfect for the two of us. Having a kitchen was great to fix quick meals and getting on with our adventures. The cabin was just that. A very comfortable place to eat and sleep. Paul and his wife were very responsive in weeks leading up to our stay and greeted us at check-in. Paul gave us great suggestions about the area and went out of his way to provide us with some kitchen utensils that were not in the...

"We had no idea where to stay and when I came across pictures of this lodge I knew this was it. We arrived and we were greeted by Deb as we were checking the place out before we went to look for our room. Very sweet lady! It was soooo relaxing to come back at night after our adventures to relax on the front porch! Don’t hesitate book this lodge now!! We will definitely be back!"

"This was a perfect place to stay. So special, unique, and peaceful. Wonderful location not too far from downtown. The breakfast was delicious. The margarita machine was always such a treat to come back to at night. It was fun playing pool to wind down. Wifi worked perfectly. The management/ staff were very nice and extremely responsive. Rooms and common areas were furnished beautifully. You can tell someone's heart and soul went into making this hotel.I will be coming back!"

"Stayed with a family of five, while cozy it definitely filled our needs and worked well for us! The outdoor kitchen was a fun addition and the yard space was great for the kids to play!"

"Our family enjoyed staying here, and would definitely return if the opportunity presents itself. It was a nice retreat after hiking and seeing the sites in the Black Hills area."

"Clean property. Close to Custer for convenience of groceries and restaurants. Close to Custer State Park, Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse. Bungalow was very small. Pictures I fell were taken from angles that did not portray just how small it was. The air did not work. At first it did not blow any air, we contacted the host and they had quick response and sent maintenance out. They were not sure what the problem was and we were leaving for the day. When we returned in the evening air was blowing but...
