The house was roomy, comfortable and well equipped. However, there were a number of issues we encountered The downstairs bathroom shower leaked and was not usable for most of our stay. The toilet downstairs also leaked. We had 12 people and all showers were needed. It would be helpful to label the light switches. There were so many of them, we had to continually flip switches to figure out which one turned on a given light. Directions for the thermostat would be helpful also. It was set to cool when we arrived and needed to switch it to heat. Being unfamiliar with that particular brand, we had to call to get directions on its operation. The TV remotes in the den did not work with the television. We finally found that the Roku remotes only worked with the TV’s in the bedrooms. It took us a while to figure out that the remote to work the den TV was in the master bedroom. Several of the light bulbs in the den chandelier flickered on and’s off and it took 2 days to get those fixed. The blinds in the upper windrows in the den were controlled electronically but the battery packs were dead and the repairman said he could not fix them, so there was no way to block out the early morning sun for those sleeping in the loft area. While we enjoyed our stay, it would have been so much better if these issues had been corrected before we got there.
