Lovely, clean and very well equipped property. The views and location are amazing. The host was very considerate and communicative. It was the perfect place for our family gathering with our kids and young grandchildren especially with the beach so accessible. We would love to stay again in the future.

We had the most incredible ladies retreat here over the weekend!! The accomodation totally exceeded our expectations! Super clean and the views were incredible. We could hear the sound of the ocean from the house which was so calming. Thank you so much Jen for the delicious homemade surprise treat, that was such a thoughtful touch. Jen was an absolute pleasure of work with and this has to be one of my fav accommodation

We can’t recommend Eacape@Culburra highly enough! This beautiful home is gorgeously decorated, well equipped (literally everything!), has stunning views, a terrific outdoor area, access to the beach, and a cafe up the road. We had a terrific stay and Jen, the host, is wonderful, even leaving us a delicious home-baled caramel slice. 5 stars!

Everything about our stay was better than expected. The house and views were amazing and we were lucky enough to see many, many whales breaching right in front of us while sitting in the lounge room. The house is very tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and there was a special touch for my birthday left for us. I often find that there are a million rules after you have booked and paid your money which can be annoying. This was not the case here. Only reasonable rules.

The house had all the modern amenities that one could wish for. It was immaculately clean and we were supplied with luxurious bedding and bath towels. There was also a great array of products for our use in the kitchen.And the highlight of the house is the magnificent view of the ocean which came alive with whales and dolphins.Thanks so much to the owners Jen & Ian who made our stay fabulous.We will be back.

This stunning property offers breath-taking views from every corner of the backyard, as well as from all indoor living areas and the main bedroom. The home is immaculate, well equipped, and perfectly suited for our large family and our fur-babies, with multiple spacious areas to relax both inside and out. We were blessed to spot dolphins and whales daily—right from the comfort of this luxurious retreat. The host was warm and welcoming, adding a personal touch that made our stay even more special. We cannot wait to return again!!

Another wonderful stay at Escape! So lucky to have stayed here multiple times - each stay filled with great memories. Jen is a brilliant host and has really thought of everything when curating the Escape experience. A few of our stays have been during winter/ raining weather and it never puts a dampener on our experience because the facilities are so well equipped. The fire place make winter days and nights so cosy and there is something to keep every age occupied. Thanks again Jen - we will be back!

Fabulous property with amazing views, perfect for a relaxing family holiday.

We absolutely loved staying at your beautiful beach house. We had an amazing weekend from strolls along the beach to evening game nights by the fire and the relaxing moments simply enjoying this beautiful home and stunning location! It was just perfect! We will surely miss waking up to the beautiful view and the crashing waves!Jen you have thought of everything, there was not one thing that was missed! Aptly named home for a getaway from Sydney/work in a wonderful location and accurate as described. Thoroughly enjoyed staying in this comfortable, clean and spacious home with fabulous ocean views. Has everything you need including a generously stocked pantry. Great place for family/friends. Favorite space was relaxing on the lovely furnished back deck that is well equipped to enjoy the view/weather and landscaping down to the beach. This place was perfect. The photos don't do the view justice. Jen, the owner, was in constant communication with us, and you can tell she takes great pride in their home and making it a great stay, even leaving a welcome surprise for us. We will definitely be back!!

Relaxed and Beautiful

Our family had a wonderful one week stay at “Escape”. This property looks good online, but it is breathtaking as you walk in the front door. The beach view is spectacular, and the house itself is beautifully presented. I would describe the styling as chic beach house with manicured gardens. My wife and I thought it reminded us of upmarket accommodation at Maui, but even better, as there is a private walkway down to a sandy swimming beach. My wife is an avid cook, and she loved that the kitchen was so well equipped with the best array of appliances and utensils we have ever encountered on holidays. Owner Jen is a great communicator and organiser, and had anticipated every need. We would highly recommend Escape@Culburra.

A beautiful house in a beautiful place

Escape is a wonderful holiday home. The location is spectacular and has direct beach access. My family loved our week together there. Made all the better with the furry family member being able to join us!The house is very well appointed. A full suite of cookware is available as well as pantry staples. This really sets Escape apart on the holiday house front! It feels like a home. There are multiple seating and dining areas. It was a very comfortable house for the 8 of us.Jen is also a fantastic host. She was super available and kept me informed of things as necessary in the lead up to and during the booking. Overall, our stay was fantastic!

Blissful Base for a Family Celebration

Escape set the scene for a wonderful few days of an extended family catch up and celebration. The house is stunning and the setting spectacular. The amazingly well-stocked kitchen was an added bonus. The young teens loved the bunk room (and the beach, who said you can’t swim mid-winter?). The John Olsen prints were also a highlight. We’d love to come back!

Family Birthday Celebration

I booked Escape@Vulburra as a gift to my brother for his 70th birthday. I knew that he would appreciate time with the family. So his wife, children and grandchildren, joined my family (adult children and dogs) for 3 days of family time. Everyone had a relaxing time. We prepared meals in the large and well equipped kitchen, played cricket, soccer and rugby in the backyard, swam, walked and fished on the privately accessible beach, watched sport, news and movies. Everyone slept comfortably, there were plenty of impeccably clean bathrooms and the large laundry was a particular bonus for feeding the doggos and keeping up with the need for clean and dry towels! We relaxed.........the view is beyond words! We talked, laughed, ate, slept and played. Everyone thought Escape@ Culburra was THE perfect setting for a family holiday - a perfect blend of stylish, practical, beautiful, private and social. We will be returning for sure!

A perfect family Christmas by the beach

A wonderful location, right on Culburra Beach with a stunning ocean view. The house is homely yet elegant, well provisioned, lots of space inside and a brilliant outside dining and relaxing area. We will be back!
