Perfect Family Fishing Adventure

3 generations from the one family on holiday and absolutely loved it.Did both beach fishing and lake fishing. Still talking about the one that got away!The property was lovely. The kids 11 and 12 used the bunk beds and have now requested the same bunk beds at home.Grandad had his own room and so did Dad. Perfect for all to have their own space.Looking forward to staying again.

Great location in a quiet street

What a great little beach house that was in an excellent location close to the lake and Warrain beach. The house had everything we needed and was perfect for our extended family of 7 adults, spanning 3 generations. The little bunk house in the back garden was just right for Grandma who could escape to her own space when she needed to rest and the main house was fantastic for the rest of us. Having 2 bathrooms in the main house was a bonus. The host was extremely responsive with the initial enquiry and then with the booking and the check in process was simpleGreat little spot in quiet area of.Culburra. We would definitely stay again.

The perfect beach house

The Cubby House is the perfect little beach house for a super chill holiday. It has literally everything you could need (including a cake tin!), plenty of space, a beautiful garden and a brilliant location.If your idea of a beach house is modern and fancy then you should go somewhere else, but if you’re looking for super comfortable, vintage gorgeousness then definitely choose The Cubby House We had the best time!

Loved it!!

We loved our stay at The Cubbyhouse. It was welcoming and cosy, had everything we needed, and the location across the road from the beach was amazing. Our teenage grandson especially loved having the Bunkhouse all to himself - and our dog loved having the huge backyard to run around in too. It also had one of the cutest outdoor showers we've ever encountered! Thank you so much for having us Camilla! Dean, Leah (Shelly the pup) and family (from Sydney)

Lovely cottage across the road from the beach

Lovely renovated holiday house. Plenty of space for a family of four and a nice big backyard for the dog. Camilla was a attentive host. We especially appreciated how well stocked the place was: all of the essentials were there in the kitchen and bathroom.

Culburra retreat

This was our first time at Culburra. We arrived in heavy rain and a bit of a chill in the air so to find such a cosy and welcoming cottage was a true bonus. We were able to heat the space well to take away the chills . The games cupboard was well supplied and once the rain went we enjoyed such games in the spacious backyard. The wifi and ability to use Spotify was also a plus. We were indeed very comfortable.

A gem in Culburra

The cubby house is a sweet and welcoming home away from home. Plenty to do from the location - access to the beach and Lake, plus the abundance of games and activities in the house itself. Highly recommend for families of all ages.

What a location!

Had the best stay. The location is amazing, literally across the road from the beach and river and the bunkhouse accommodation is so well appointed and has everything you could possibly want. Our host Camilla was great to communicate with and even offered us an early check in and late check out so we could make the most of our stay. This is my new favourite place to stay at the coast.

Culburra beach gem

We loved the Cubbyhouse & all of the gorgeous retro pieces in the house. We really enjoyed our stay, the house had everything we needed, along with a well stocked pantry & very comfy beds. Highly recommend.
