"Nous y sommes allés une grande famille et les espaces sont super bien aménagés pour 12 personnes. Les photos sont réalistes et les aménagements propres. L’entretien de la piscine est fait régulièrement et nous avons eu de l’aide pour le menage de la part d’une employée de la maison. Parcontre la plage et le marché sont trop loin a pieds avec de jeunes enfants il faut absolument un véhicule."

"The villa is just as pictured. And I could literally live in the salt water pool. This home is away from sights, so I definitely suggest arranging a driver, as the roads are difficult to navigate. But this also gives you tranquility. The concierge Dani is absolutely wonderful. She planned the trip ahead of time with us and even helped us with a couple difficulties that arose. We also recommend booking a meal with their kind Chef Adrian."

"Stayed here with 3 others and found the location to be very accommodating. The location fit our needs with respect to private parking, security, and location to the beach. We were also able to cook meals in the kitchen which added to the convenience. Avellanas is a great beach town and the beach was a short walk away. It was nice lounging around in the hammock and enjoying the scenery. I would gladly go back."

"The home was PERFECT and all things listed online about the house from Wendy (owner) and all reviews were 100% correct! "Stayed here with a group of 5. There was plenty of room for us in the house, it didn't feel cramped. The property was nice and secure and the hammocks were great to lounge in. We all felt like the walk to the beach was fine and would consider it the definition of walking distance. Would highly recommend this place for a group looking for an authentic Tico experience."

"This house is absolutely perfect for big families. Everyone has their private space while also having large common areas to share with each other. The “casita” is a plus of this rental. An independent 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment ideal for teenagers or a couple with kids. The location is perfect, walking distance to the beach (about 200 yds) and great amenities (kayak, paddle board, boogie boards, bikes, board games, and more!) Definitely coming back. "There were small things like the stove being broken and no water on the last day for a period but overall a great stay. A little grungy and can use some updating. Would be nice if they provided pool floaties or something similar. But still a great time!"

"We were a party of 10 friends and enjoyed a fabulous stay in the cabanas during our “adult summer camp” vacation. The amenities are basic but perfect. "If you are looking for a trip to stay at the beach to surf or swim, this is a good place. It is nice, safe, secure, has most all of the basic necessities and my hosts were kind and helpful when I had questions or needed anything. It was close to a busy street and restaurants so there was a lot of noise at times. It was right on the main road yet near the end of it so you can walk to get to all the shops and restuarants."

"Great walkable location near beach suitable for several families. We had street parking but the overnight security made us feel very safe. Any immediate questions/issues were addressed quickly. The only real negative was a dishwasher that did not work very well. We found the pool to be a real necessity…enjoyed it and the inside/outside family areas."
